The simple counter-argument[edit]
If telepathy 'worked' between humans (as distinct from 'common trains of thought' etc) there would be traces of it throughout history - as it would be useful for spying etc. Anna Livia (talk) 18:32, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- What if the vorlons didn't activate the telepathy genes until humanity made extraterrestrial contact? ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:41, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- Who be Vorlons? There is no evidence of actual contact with aliens being made - and if the genes are present there will be some natural combining and recombining and interacting with other genes so that the telepathy will be activated regardless.
- The main problem with 'telepathy' is that many people assume that it is speech communication by another means (rather than empathy, 'thinking into what the other person will do' etc). Anna Livia (talk) 19:51, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

- Some pets are capable of telepathically picking up 'edibles accessible' and 'time to go to the vet.'

Non-physical communication[edit]
Telepathy is a taboo subject, but I have experienced and recorded and discussed other types of non-physical communication here: https://substack.com/home/post/p-145477811?r=1epo4c&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
