A few things[edit]

A few things. Besides style and grammar:

1: I'm deleting the text "Believed (by some) to be the largest employer in the USA besides the various forms of local, state, and national government", because the size of an employer is a fact, not a belief. I'm going to try to track down some sources on this.

2. WTF is up with "(mostly hippies, extreme left and anti-political/anti-capitalist groups)"? It marginalizes a group of people with valid concerns about Wal-Mart's business practices, including labor unions, feminist organizations, and pro-life groups. (On a related note, I'm removing "possibly an unjust" because any criticism may be unjustified and it seems unduly prejudicial, and the word "negative" because it's redundant.) If anybody wants to argue the "hippies [and] extreme left" point (or, for that matter, the "possibly an unjust" point, which I'm not completely sure I should remove), I'll provide sources, but, for now, I'm deleting this statement.

I'm going to come back to this article and rework some more content later, I think. A Writer of Vaudevilles 21:33, 7 November 2008 (EST)

Good idea; I went ahead and made some of those edits and added a new section about the recent Wal-Mart/Starbucks ratio thing while you were editing your talk comment here.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 21:53, 7 November 2008 (EST)

My hatred for Walmart[edit]

I absolutely hate Walmart, especially after they attempted, very aggressively, to build a store on the grounds of the battlefields of Gettysburg. Nothing is sacred to these assholes. That is all. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 03:39, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Seconded. I would also add that they are everything about corporate America that is soulless and evil. Tetronian you're clueless 03:41, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
I agree, though my reasons are mostly different from the reasons in this article. Talsley (talk) 17:55, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
