2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Query about wording[edit]

The "See also" section of this documentation currently reads as follows:

* Template:Sock - Use this to denote self-admitted sockpuppets. They aren't against CS in and of themselves, but banned users are not allowed to sockpuppet.

I'm not quite sure what this means. I think it's trying to say that RationalWiki isn't against sockpuppeting as long as it's honest and not an attempt at ban evasion, but what is this "CS"? --Luigifan18 (talk) 16:28, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

CS stands for Community Standards. Indeed it's fine to have sockpuppets, as long as you don't use them for ban evasion or to vote multiple times in coop/ATIM or policy decisions. Knight CommanderIn ServiceTo HerGoatness 16:43, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
