Tim Pool

Tim Pool is a former VICE reporter and useful idiot who first gained notoriety reporting from the front lines of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Since then he has two YouTube channels, Tim Pool[1], and Timcast[2]. He parrots conservative and alt-right talking points constantly, masquerading as a journalist with liberal leanings.

Centrism[edit]

Tim repeatedly reaffirms to his audience that he is just another run-of-the-mill centrist who is disgusted by the modern left, who wants to get to the objective truth.

On November 2, 2018, Tim tweeted[3]

Social Liberals are center left.

I am a social liberal

I believe the progressive tax makes the most sense

I am for expanding civil liberties

I believe government should play a role in healthcare and education

I believe in progressive values and ensuring equality of opportunity

On January 24, 2019, Tim tweeted[4]

plus if you want to technical, and much the chagrin of the far left, I am a leftist channel but am very critical of the far left.

Ive only ever advocated for left wing policies f[sic]

Conservative rhetoric[edit]

Despite his fair and balanced worldview, Tim has a habit of almost exclusively entertaining the right wing narrative. [examples needed]

Alt-right connections[edit]

As a proud and unbiased centrist, he hangs out[5] with figures such as James Allsup, Brittany Pettibone[6], Baked Alaska[7], Mike Cernovich[8] and Gavin McInnes[9].

Conspiracy theories[edit]

In a dashing display journalistic meticulousness, Tim quickly jumped to push Jacob Wohl’s false rape accusation towards Robert Mueller[10] (until it spectacularly fell apart).
