A little about me:
I recently graduated law school. I am currently a graduate student in public policy. I went back to school because A) practicing law sucks and is no fun, and B) there are very few decent jobs to be found in law right now.
I'm an atheist, but not particularly militant about it. I just would rather not see religious fundamentalists (be they Christian, Islamic, or otherwise) take over the world.
I am opposed to all forms of political extremism, left and right. Which means that I dislike Communism, Anarchism, Libertarianism, Dominionism, Fascism, Naziism, and various other forms of wingnuttery. It seems to me that the most successful societies utilized mixed economies which are responsive to the needs of the population, while simultaneously protecting basic civil and economic liberties. I also think the United States could use some sort of universal public health care system.
I listen to heavy metal music (particularly thrash metal and death metal), noise rock, lots of old classic rock from the 1960s and 70s, and some jazz & classical music.
I like reading non-fiction, because I'm a nerd. I am especially interested in history, economics, geology, law, and politics.
Contributions[edit]
I began the articles on Ron Paul and Dick Armey. Please add to them.
I also started the article on the Cloward-Piven Strategy.
