2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

PC culture[edit]

Please define it for me. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:13, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

"People getting offended too easily"? Examples include gender-neutral language e.g. "police officer" instead of policeman, racist and sexist jokes (that aren't meant to be taken serious), etc and PC in medicine (calling someone with disability "special needs" instead of retarded). So would you say that things like "freedom fries" or "liberty cabbage" or even perhaps "war on Christmas" are PC? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 18:17, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
"racist and sexist jokes (that aren't meant to be taken serious)". That's a tactic of bullies: abuse someone then say, 'It was just a joke. Don't you have a sense of humor?' You can just fuck off if you're going to try that shit. Bongolian (talk) 18:28, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

I don't think this is the real A New Radical Centrism but an impersonator[edit]
