Test?[edit]
forum or IRC SusanPurrrrr 05:12, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- Not quite sure what you mean Susan. I put this on the forum:
- For those who are still trying to figure it out, this seems to work.
- Lets say you try to go to a page and you get:
- then it won't work. However, if you edit the URL to remove /Wiki and add another / before wiki you get:
- and this will work.
- If you make an edit to a page the system will tell you that it has failed. However it will, in fact, have worked. To see your edit keep hitting the back button, (or reload).
- At least it seems to work for me.--Bobbing up 05:19, 19 February 2008 (EST)

Re: Thing without a subject[edit]
Thank you very much. In the way I designed it, only the title would be controversial and after you actually read it would seem interesting. Sort of like Monty Python and the Life of Brian. Look at the title, say it's evil and blasphemous. Watch the movie, realize its brillaint. Or better, FSM-ism. At first glance, seems....evil. Then you read the Open Letter....and it's not. I like to ramble. And argue. --Storytellershrink 18:38, 17 March 2008 (EDT)
Re: SS[edit]
I rather think that someone got on his nerves by constantly following his edits with complaints & slightly snarky comments. He got pissed off & deleted his User & Talk pages & then came back to remove a load of his past edits. He thought that he'd just been operating in accord with Project Whitewash but others obviously disagreed. Marghanita Laski 07:30, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

Atheism Wiki[edit]
Would you like to be a sysop on Atheism Wiki? Proxima Centauri 05:22, 28 June 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks for thinking of me. I know that I've made a few edits there from time to time, but I don't really think that I can commit too much time to the project. I do think the idea of an explicitly atheist wiki is a good idea though if you could get it off the ground. On the other hand - what would there be to go Headless Chicken over? :-) Anyway, I wish you luck, but - as I said - I can't really commit to it.--Bobbing up 05:30, 28 June 2008 (EDT)
- What a good idea! Let's hope Atheism Wiki keeps most irrational atheist ramblings out of Rational Wiki. :-) (Editor at) CP:no intelligence allowed 06:33, 28 June 2008 (EDT)
- Actually I've been thinking of creating NomaWiki, ModerateChristianWiki, and DeistWiki in order to reduce both irrationality and conflict. :-) :-) As a further conflict-reduction measure perhaps LibertarianismWiki should be created.--Bobbing up 06:42, 28 June 2008 (EDT)
- What about ConservaWiki or FundyWiki or RightestWingWiki? Instead of opposing Andy, let's fight with his own defensive weapons of wikis! Thanks for making me a sysop here. Wikia wants to know if there’s a consensus over who would like to be an admin at 'Atheism Wiki. There's no pressure on you. You've been nice to me so I thought I'd give you time to consider. Atheism Wiki needs to be patrolled about once a day. It may need more when there's vandalism. Vandalism isn't bad there. - Loved Amber (almost cried when he died) Love Vance: he's got a beautiful way with words - a whole dialect of his own - you can spot a Vance quote at 100 yards. A lot of the entries in Science fiction are mine. I like most and love a lot. Don't like many films/TV though. ContribsTalk 12:20, 28 June 2008 (EDT)
- In that case we have very similar tastes. I had literally hundreds of books before I moved to Spain and it broke my heart when I got rid of them. Unlike you though I've got no problems with media SF. It's quite a different thing, but I'm quite into it. (I've never contributed to the SF articles here because I've never quite seen the relevance to RW.)--Bobbing up 12:32, 28 June 2008 (EDT)

Public education[edit]
I hath initiated the article public education (which I'm surprised we already didn't have). I feel it has serious potential, as it touches upon so many aspects of our mission (which may not be readily apparent, given its magnificently cruddy form at the moment). Being a teacher yourself, I would greatly appreciate any input you have to offer. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 06:36, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

Check copyright[edit]
Bob, you might like (or not, I dunno) to go to the site JM's lifted from [1] & see if it's a copy vio (it's all in furrin & I can't read it). It looks to me as if they're artist's/photographer's original works & would probably be copyright - not 'Fair Use' at all. ContribsTalk 15:25, 4 July 2008 (EDT)
- It's a photography competition for doctors (amateur photographers) at a hospital in Tenerife. That was the winner for 2006 it seems - it's rather good. There is no specific copyright note on the page - but my understanding is that everything is covered unless it says it's not? Is that what you were asking?--Bobbing up 15:34, 4 July 2008 (EDT)
“”An image on your website has been copied* and published* on the internet at Conservapedia.com a rght wing fundamentalist Christian website. Justification is claimed on the first of these web pages. A procedure is laid out at (http://www.conservapedia.com/DMCA_Agent) for objecting to this usage, but I would suggest that the 'legalese' of this document is spuriouas and a mere email to: aschlafly@aol.com (with "copyright" and "Conservapedia" in the subject line) should be enough in law to satisfy objection.
