Nakba

The Nakba is the 1948 exodus of over 700,000 Palestinians from Mandatory Palestine. It is an Arabic word meaning "catastrophe" Its impact remains with roughly 5 million Palestinians remaining displaced outside their former homes and continued negotiations with Israel regarding the right of return.[1]
