Sinophobia is a term that refers to racism against Chinese people.

China is ascendent in economic and political power and challenging American hegemony. American imperialists use that to hate China. Etymologically the term can be broken up into the prefix and the suffix. The prefix "sinae" the greek prefix for china and "phobos" the latin prefix for fear, put together the term literally means fear of china or more generally hostility towards Chinese people.

On occasions, it may be used to describe Asian racism which was prominent in the United States when Covid 19 made its mark in there.[1]

Unfortunately, it has been used as a snarl word against anti-communists and critics of China (Particularly Xi Jinping).
