2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Clarification[edit]

(Sometimes resulting in a Wikipedia article,[wp] if an intermediate Reliable Source cribs the RationalWiki article!) When did this happen? FᴜᴢᴢʏCᴀᴛPᴏᴛᴀᴛᴏ, Esϙᴜɪʀᴇ (talk/stalk) 01:12, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Allegedly (not checked it myself) Freemen on the land - RWFreemen on the land - WP Pippa (talk) 01:27, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, some legal magazine cribbed heavily from our Freeman article (to the point where it should probably have been CC by-sa) and the Wikipedia article started from that. If you look at the WP article, you'll see a link back to RationalWiki at the bottom for copyright reasons - David Gerard (talk) 10:46, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
