I think baby-eating was missed out here. Or does that come under "Satan-worshiping"?--Bob_M (talk) 14:55, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

pedophagia (baby-eating) is a separate category, as Satan-worship's relationship to pedophagia is very dependent on the sect. For instance, Californian Orthodox Satanists feel that pedophagia is insufficient sacrifice for the Dark One, and that kittens are far better, given that more people like kittens than children. The Satanist Union of Greenwich Village, however, feels pedophagia is only proper during the third full moon in February, but that goats are tasty any day of the week.--PalMD-רפאל ליפשון 15:03, 27 May 2007 (CDT)
Truly fascinating. I'm not sure whether I should try to encourage you to expand this into an article though. Not really for the faint-hearted. Perhaps it could come under "novel religious practices".?--Bob_M (talk) 15:07, 27 May 2007 (CDT)
Well, if it helps, the Midwest Chapter of The Satanist Union (Reformed) are officially affiliated with the Michigan Democratic Party. So, I hope that clears it up. And, officially, they renounced pedophagia in favor of smoking weed. --PalMD-רפאל ליפשון 15:17, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

Funny Wandalism[edit]

Somebody archive this one before it gets reverted, huh? --Kels 17:20, 19 June 2007 (CDT)

Atheistic satan-worshippers[edit]

Cracker, your logic is sound, but I don't think it's logic that drives this topic; it's fear of the diffrent, and for the people who use this phrase (or at least the people they pander to), there's not any real distinction between 'atheist' and 'satan-worshiper'. Not only can someone be both, I'm not sure it's possible to be just one or the other. --jtltalk 16:22, 21 June 2007 (CDT)

Ready for my theological explanation? OK, here it goes. Satan is the great deceiver; he creates deception that lure people into atheism. By being atheists, you deny Christ. Denying Christ helps evil and Satan flourish. To worship is to help flourish. Atheist=Satan-worshiper. QED.--PalMD-yada yada 16:27, 21 June 2007 (CDT)(I do Bar Mitzvahs too.)

SS on grammar and paranoia[edit]

ORLY? That section really lacks goat, IMHO... ħumanUser talk:Human 01:16, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Lacks goat? ORLY? Secret Squirrel 01:33, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Methinks the argument over whether to -ic or not to -ic is silly, which was sort of the point. Nobody was accusing this of being a Republican slur when the official John F. Kennedy posters said Vote Democrat. Secret Squirrel 01:40, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
But it is an intentional slurry use these days. No one really knows why, though. When Limbaugh fumes "Democrat Party", what button is it supposed to push? Again, no one knows - but maybe we can figure it out. Illiteracy? ħumanUser talk:Human 03:04, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Indeed it is intentionally slurry, but the paranoia over it has also gone too far. Plenty of people, Democrats at that (at least in my neck of teh woods) regularly say things like "Democrat politicians" or "vote Democrat" without intended slur even occurring to them, then are taken aback when somebody jumps on them over it. Secret Squirrel 03:20, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Maybe you could refer more specifically to those people in that section? ħumanUser talk:Human 04:11, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Rumor is the Democrat Party might become Democratic, they may do away with Superdelegates. [1] You know, superdelegates, where one unelected delegate = 50,000 votes, unlike the GOP where one man/woman/transgender = one vote. RobS 04:53, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Wait! Wait! Dont lie to me!!! The Republicans allow women and transgenders in their party? Hmmm.... Who would've guessed that one?Lord of the Goons 04:55, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Republan Party[edit]

Wouldn't it be the "Republan Party" rather than the "Republic Party?" Oh, wait, you can't take the "ic" out of "Republican"...Nwebster84 (talk) 11:19, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

rock music[edit]

I'd like to add rock music-listening to the list but this is grammatically incorrect (since listening is an intransitive verb), and can't figure an alternative verb. Maybe someone more linguistic than me has a solution. Kauri0.o (talk) 21:15, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
