- Yah. Consider this entire page fact-tagged. In 96 hours I will begin removing all non-obvious names on the list. People who care can put them back with references. PowderSmokeAndLeather: Say something once, why say it again?. 01:58, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
- I've removed all uncited, as promised. Feel free to replace them with a reference. PowderSmokeAndLeather: Say something once, why say it again?. 13:02, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- How about just deleting the whole thing? It's neither especially informative nor "fun". ŴêâŝêîôîďMethinks it is a Weasel 18:09, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Absolutely agreed. A collection of anecdotes is not evidence.
- Looking over this list, nearly half on the list are wrong. Tab Hunter? Lionel Barrymore? Frank Capra? Seriously? Whoever compiled this list has a very dubious idea of what cnstitutes a conservative. — Unsigned, by: Burwood / talk / contribs
Oh my fuck...[edit]
I'm not even going to go in to trying to link Frank Zappa with the republican party (whom he compared to communists and have you people ever heard his shit on the religious right? Attacking big business?), now you fucking moonbats are claiming U2 is a Christian Rock group? Somebody here at rationalwiki needs to do a page on rationalwiki. Burkean (talk) 20:19, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
- Frank Capra? Lionel Barrymore? Neither of these men were particularly conservative and have no place on this list.— Unsigned, by: Burwood / talk / contribs
Would anyone mind if I did a bit of cleanup?[edit]
I really don't like the footnote layout. Also, I want to differentiate between conservatives and libertarians, because while they both are whores of business, they're still different from each other. Blitz (Complaints Box) 21:27, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Even some of the conservatives/libertarians aren't anymore. For instance, Rush (or, specifically, Neil, their drummer/lyricist) was way into Rand back in the 70's, but as an older, wiser man, he considers that an old shame. He grew out of Objectivism and seems pretty solidly on the left now.
Varg Vikernes and Skrewdriver?[edit]
One can hardly compare the fervently anti-Christian black metal musician and convicted murderer Varg Vikernes to the likes of Ron Reagan and Ted Nugent. Skrewdriver and the 80s British working-class nazi skinhead movement have also very little to do with "Conservatism". And neither of these musical acts are or have ever been popular or known in the Hollywood/American popular culture, as they are also very, very obscure in Europe. So they are not certainly examples of "successful widely-known Conservative/Libertarian-aligned entertainers". I'll remove them. JJohannes (talk) 12:15, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
JMS?[edit]
I mean, his Twitter feed doesn't suggest that. He probably does have some conservative viewpoints (Superman: Grounded) but Supreme Power (which I recommend, BTW) repeatedly mocks American imperialism and portrays the military as less-than-noble. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:59, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, right. Forgot I'm a bot right now. Anyways, @FuzzyCatPotato and ChristopherCare to comment, or should I remove JMS from list? RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:00, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
- I'll remove it. Christopher (talk) 18:44, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Wesley Snipes[edit]
Should we put him in, for the whole taxed scandal- thing. That was something the tea party was known for? — Unsigned, by: Tdog / talk / contribs
- Does he claim to support conservationism? If not, don't stick him on the list. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:29, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
- In a interview back in februry. He said in a interview that Trump should go and see the Black Panther movie in a very positive light. no bitterness at all or calling him out. — Unsigned, by: Tdog / talk / contribs
- I'll take that as a "no" then. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:48, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Way were Kevin Downes and Emma Elle Roberts taken off[edit]
they are conservative? Way were they taken off. Also does Israel Broussard count as a conservative. Granted he apologized after words. But then deleted his twitter account. So who knows if he was being honest. — Unsigned, by: 24.105.237.213 / talk / contribs

Jay Johnston[edit]
Since I have insufficient permission edit this article, I just wanted to mention here that actor and comedian Jay Johnston should be added to the list. He's been on Gavin McInnes' show and two actors that he has worked with have confirmed that he is a Trump supporter. Also he should be added to 2021 U.S. Capitol riot/Charges but with an asterisk or question mark since several actors that have worked with him have seemingly confirmed that he was present at the January 6th Capitol Hill riot, but there are no charges against him at this time.
