Keep[edit]

  1. Seems on-mission to me for a number of reason, such as being the roots of capitalism and socialism/communism, or the poor working conditions bordering on slavery. I agree the current text isn't super, but it's not terrible either (not bad enough to warrant deletion) ... Improve! Carpetsmoker (talk) 16:47, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
  2. Needs expansion, not deletion. Long time listing on Rationalwiki:To do list at +15, linked by several articles and linkable by 72 more, all of which look like topical links. How is this different from Age of Enlightenment or Progressive Era? Plenty of mission related stuff to talk about here, from reaping the benefits of technology to the start of global warming. - Smerdis of Tlön, A ⇒ ¬A. 19:49, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
  3. Smerdis and Carpetsmoker cover the reasons to keep. RationalWiki should cover it briefly and then link over to Wikipedia. Sir ℱ℧ℤℤϒℂᗩℑᑭƠℑᗩℑƠ (talk/stalk) 19:54, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
  4. The keep reasons seem more persuasive than the delete ones, so I'll pitch in with another keep vote. ScepticWombat (talk) 21:13, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Delete[edit]

  1. Not on mission, hard to see being on mission in the future, a subject almost certainly better off covered at wikipedia than here Ikanreed (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
I guess I consider this nomination withdrawn. There's a lot to be said, and I just wasn't thinking about what that might include enough. Ikanreed (talk) 21:33, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Goat[edit]

On the one hand most of what we could say about the ir we could probably say on existing articles or ones we should make if we don't have them. On the other, saying the single biggest change in human society since idj, farming and religion, isn't on mission sounds silly--Miekal 19:05, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
