Klingon[edit]
I'll be beginning the RationalWiki Klingon Language translations today, and hope to have 30 articles translated by the end of the month. Could you please begin a list of the most important 30 articles? Thanks. EXTERMINATE 05:21, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- On the off chance you are serious, try Category:Cover story articles. ListenerXTalkerX 05:24, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- I just realised... there's nowhere on the internet that refutes pseudoscience in klingon. EXTERMINATE 05:25, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, but seriously... since the project has been nominally started, I've been thinking about the idea of translating a few of the cover stories into French. I'm just not sure if it'd be worth the time. I know I could do it to a high-quality standard, and when I'm next at the parents' house.. my mother could copyedit it to perfection. But it'd be a time-consuming undertaking and I'm not sure if it'd be worth it. Do people think we'd ever get any traffic or serious interest? EXTERMINATE 05:35, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- For what its worth our most consistent number one refer for hits is translate.google.com. Doesn't tell us what language though...Tmtoulouse (talk) 05:43, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Poe's Law is the most translated. Tmtoulouse (talk) 05:45, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. Then I think I'll translate Poe's Law & Homeopathy, trying to keep the length and high quality of the articles. I'll get them checked like I said before putting them online, and if they get some hits, then I guess the language project is worth proceeding with. EXTERMINATE 05:49, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

How about actually setting up other language editions of Rational wiki and transferring the pages there? --Myrtonos@ 13:37, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Rien ne va plus[edit]
It's nice to see how well the Russian section is coming along and that there's at least one very dedicated editor on the task, but isn't the French section pretty much dead at this point? It consists of a single, stubby attempt at translating an existing article, the lone editor who wanted to take care of this hasn't worked on it for more than half a year, and to be honest, his French skills weren't really up to the task anyway. So, should this still be listed as an active project? Röstigraben (talk) 10:35, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
