Um, is this guy like important or notable or anything? Or just some local who got his name in the paper once for something odd? Move to delete. Secret Squirrel (talk) 18:21, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I've added this example to our religious pareidolia article so this stub can now be deleted. There's no reason to create an article on individual cases of this phenomenon, or to namecheck the discoverers of these alleged miracles, unless they become really notable. If Secret Squirrel is correct then we should always wait until more worthy humans like those at Wikipedia and Conservapaedia decide someone or something merits attention. But that smells of low self esteem and submission to popular prejudice. Thorvelden (talk)
- Who is this Bill Johnson and what do Wikipedia and Conservapedia have to do with it? There have been umpteen thousand Bill Johnsons, including a former U.S. Supreme Court justice, a former head of the Southern Baptist Convention, a white supremacist leader, an actor, dozens of professional sports and political figures..and apparently one guy who got his name in a local Winston-Salem, North Carolina newspaper for seeing Jesus in a tree branch. A link in the religious pareidolia article will suffice. Secret Squirrel (talk) 14:29, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- Fine. A universal consensus of three decides it. Comrades, in future, lets screen all new articles to ascertain whether Wikipedia and Conservapedia havse sen fit to designate their subjects as noteworthy. Thorvelden (talk)
