2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

This guy...[edit]

Is a complete, crank magnet, moron. "He input into the Google search window “dr leonarg g ho”. The quack buster did not even finish typing before Google not only corrected the spelling of his name, but listed “dr. leonard g. horowitz quack” as third option." which proves "This adjacent screenshot shows covert ‘predictive programming’ to predict where you want to go on the Internet when you search Google. But the program takes you elsewhere. The artificial intelligence built into the Google search engine predicts where you want to go, and ‘programs’ your brain to go where the Deep State protection racket wants you to go.", or something... Oh gods... Being a guy interested in tech hurts right now. That's... That's not true per se. The A.I. is basically a parrot with long term memory, and the only google products activily trying to manipluate your mind are the ads (theirs and others') and their PR department. That's it. There's no grand conspiracy... Google's A.I. is basically a moron. It only suggests that third result because lots of people who use Google's search engine are already think this guy is a quack. Like... It's not one sided, the program incorporates user driven elements to improve its core objective, i.e. help people find stuff on various websites. Plus a bunch of sovereign citizen wooo woo (he might as well yell "I do not consent" a bunch of times, it'll do the exact same thing, i.e. nothing.) ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:38, 18 August 2019 (UTC)

TL;DR:, He's upset because Google's search engine is the A.I. equivlent of a dog that has been trained to fetch... Fetching a Frisbee that he threw. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:44, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
It's really hilarious that he's pissed off because most people search for his name and "scam" and that because of that he is convinced that there is a global conspiracy aligned against him. ``Cosmikdebris (talk) 04:08, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
Yep, you've both hit the nail on the head. It's actually amazing how many levels of not even wrong there are in that article. I noticed he made a similarly nonsensical and deranged attempt to "debunk" a musician's deconstruction of his "solfeggio frequencies" theory, calling the musician "a menace to humanity" with "malice, evil intent..." In his mind, any and all critics are part of the global conspiracy against him.--Yisfidri (talk) 08:54, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
