Talk:Neville Chamberlain

Delete[edit]

This is so wrong. Neville Chamberlain bought us, at the cost of Czechoslovakia, enough time to make a start on rebuilding our armaments industry. Of course he had to spin it with the 'peace in our time' bollocks but he was taking the pragmatic solution to a very difficult problem. This article does RW no favours at all and should be deleted - or perhaps someone can explain why we need it? Jack Hughes (talk) 17:56, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

I agree this misses the reality of Chamberlain's actions -basically, he did a horrible thing, but had no real choice in the matter. Had the UK gone to war without an arms build-up, things might have gone worse for them. --TheLateGatsby (talk) 18:05, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
Now, where else did we read similar arguments like those...?--Arisboch (talk) 14:52, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
Sounds like it needs a rewrite rather than a deletion. SophieWilder 18:09, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
Perhaps delete it and build up Appeasement? --TheLateGatsby (talk) 18:27, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
