Talk:Notch
Merge?[edit]
I’m also currently writing a draft on Notch on this wiki (Draft:Markus Persson). Is there a possibility of merging the two pages together? Magic Master (talk) 18:38, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Would like this page to get expanded.[edit]

Holly Molly, when did "rationalwiki" become "SJW ideology" wiki?[edit]
Out of all the purported accusations and character assassinations which are basic sophist biases and ideological tactic, only the accusation fo transphobia is true. — Unsigned, by: 89.86.65.246 / talk 17:22, 31 August 2020

- This page occupies a weird spot because I can't remember the last time Notch even said anything political. I think he once implied something about how he was trying to be apolitical these days. Unless I've missed something then this article is probably going to end up mainly having some sort of minor historical value. Chillpilled (talk) 11:20, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
Could we remove Notch from the category of homophobe?[edit]
So could we remove him? He publicly said that there was no homophobic intent on the heterosexual pride day tweet on Reddit, found here. 179.136.90.179 (talk) 09:20, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
- Saying that your remarks weren't homophobic don't make them less homophobic. GeeJayKWhere all evil dwells Where every lie is true 10:50, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

His quote is: "Turns out "pride" refers to pride over overcoming oppression, not pride over identity. I deleted my tweet where I thought people were opposed to straight people feeling pride for their sexuality and thanked people for letting me know I was misunderstanding as it gave me so much more hope for humanity.
People are still running with the original tweet because outrage is fun, though."
It seems that he just misunderstood the meaning of pride and didn't intend to be homophobic. 191.13.65.37 (talk) 15:59, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
