Typical[edit]

This article is typical of the Left - obfuscatating and selectively quoting to suggest that the Man from Mars is consuming guitars. The actual quote explains that

"'Cause the man from Mars won't eat up bars when the TV's on And now he's gone back up to space Where he won't have a hassle with the human race"

I think it's been made ABUNDANTLY clear that we won't be having any problems with the Man From Mars. Doggedpersistance 18:07, 8 August 2007 (CDT) (except it was sometime earlier.

You bastard! But, you might be right. So, fix the article, eh? humanbe in 23:16, 15 June 2007 (CDT)

OK, so this article is as good a place to ask a question I've been wanting to ask forever about RW. It goes to the heart of what RW is supposed to be. What would be different about the Rapture article on RW vs. the article on the subject on Wikipedia? What 'different' kind of view are we taking here? What are we doing here that would offer a different view? Doggedpersistance 18:07, 8 August 2007 (CDT)

Have you read RationalWiki:Project Whitewash/What is a RationalWiki article? Talk page there might be good to talk about it too. tmtoulouse harass 18:12, 8 August 2007 (CDT)

Could this be used in the article at all? :P Oh, and I can't find anything on Oscar Wilde saying "No more sodomy for me!" Subtle, intelligent wandalism? NorsemanWassail! 23:52, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

There's an ongoing joke at Uncyclopedia where people make up some really weird "quotes" from Oscar Wilde. Researcher 23:59, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

Considering it's at best my vague memory of the early 80's? I hope so! Just leave the Blondie snark in there when you're done, ok? humanUser talk:Human 02:41, 14 December 2007 (EST)

No True Scotsman[edit]

I just got the idea of sorta mixing The Rapture with No True Scotsman. It seems to me that if it actually were to happen, like three people are going to go. Who'd notice? --Edgerunner76Your views are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter 12:47, 22 July 2008 (EDT)
