What is Halal tax? Does this mean the Australian government subsidises Halal abattoirs, and only Halal abbatoirs?-- Forerunner (talk) 13:00, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

What is claimed is that paying for the certification funds Islamic terrorism because, well, they said so. Instead of things proven over decades to fund terrorism like oil. The same type of thing was used as a canard previously for funding conspiracies by Jews. The article seems to need more references for a limited playbook of canards used for fear mongering. -EmeraldCityWanderer (talk) 13:53, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
So it's like the Federation of Copyright Theft's claims that illegally-copied DVDs is a major means of funding terrorist organizations, or is that a real one?-- Forerunner (talk) 15:14, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
I'll let you fact check specific claims made by other groups that are not the subject of the page. You have as much ability to do so as much as anyone else here. -EmeraldCityWanderer (talk) 16:49, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

How can these people claim to be "reclaiming" Australia when they're the ones that took it from the aboriginals? Shouldn't the latter be the ones doing the reclaiming? (talk) 07:15, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Your guess is as good as anyone's. MattH. (talk) 05:21, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

Nationalist Republican Guard[edit]

What republic are they guarding in Australia? - π 07:55, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Nationalist movements often don't acknowledge higher political institutions as holding (legitimate) authority over them. E.g. Catalonian nationalists want independence from Spain, UKIPers wanna get out of the EU. When that higher institution includes royalty, they can identify as republicanWikipedia to express their opposition to the monarchy. (talk) 18:05, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

BoN Says[edit]

Btw... I think I saw some asians in the Reclaim Australia rally, they were holding the Reclaim Australia banner. Anyone got pictures of that? - — Unsigned, by: 13:38, 23 July 2015 / talk / contribs

It's always interesting how people kind of believe something, have no proof, and ask other people to provide the proof of their beliefs. -EmeraldCityWanderer (talk) 13:45, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

Tea baggers[edit]

The Australian Tea Party FB page seems to espouse much of the Reclaim Australia rhetoric. Does anyone know if the Australian Tea Party is actually a thing or just a Facebook page? There is no website it seems.--TheroadtoWiganPier (talk) 06:04, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Pretty sure not - David Gerard (talk) 09:50, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Aggrieved article subjects[edit]

Email from someone claiming to be Ralph Cerminara:

2 people are consistanly putting up false stories on our wiki
User 1
User 2
Both users are putting up false articles on our wiki, how do we stop this?

Weaseloid put back the blankings [1][2] and Owlman locked the article.

So! The subjects dispute those two images. The Stormfront screenshot, that's Stormfront's approbation. Are we sure the first is a Reclaim member?

Also, the Patriots Defence League link. Substantiation is of course good - David Gerard (talk) 09:50, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

At least two news stories use the image of the guy with the tattooed head in articles about people from outside the movement hijacking a recent rally. Nothing to substantiate the idea that the guy represents RA. 1 and 2. Also, total copyright violation. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 14:05, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
