Not again[edit]

[1] --Seth Peck (talk) 17:17, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

I have to ask; every time this sort of thing comes up, there's almost an immediate uproar from the gun lobby that armed citizens could have prevented this. Yet, here's the thing, why do we always hear of stories where the police killed the shooter or they turned the gun on themselves? Where are all the stories of heroic action-civilians with their own Glocks blasting these people away? Scarlet A.pnggnosticModerator 17:29, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
Regarding Seth's link above -- God damn it, media vultures, interviewing a third grader after a school shooting? The kid needs her mommy and daddy right now, not a fucking microphone in her face! MDB (the MD is for Maryland, the B is for Bear) 17:38, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
The heroic civilian action usually is tackling the shooter while they reload. As far as I can remember, during Loughner's rampage, one "concealed-carrier" managed to draw, but couldn't shoot (either didn't see the shooter, or didn't have a clear shot, my memory is fuzzy), and almost got killed by another one or the police, who mistook him for the shooter.--ZooGuard (talk) 17:46, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
So what are the advantages of arming everyone in a fucking primary school again? Osaka Sun (talk) 17:49, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

imagine 20 8-year olds with Glocks. My local news said 27 dead including kids. What sort of adult shoots little kids, and wtf with two shooters ? Hamster (talk) 18:09, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
One report says the shooter was a school parent. What the fuck makes a parent go out and kill a bunch of kids? MDB (the MD is for Maryland, the B is for Bear) 18:22, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Conspiracy theories.[edit]

Betrix, what are you trying to say there that isn't already clearly stated in the previous (better-written) version? Theory of Practice "Now we stand outcast and starving 'mid the wonders we have made." 03:38, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

UCC Shooting[edit]

Thoughts on RationalWiki from MSD[edit]

I go to MSD, and I want you to know I think RationalWiki is retarded. — Unsigned, by: 204.28.108.116 / talk

Well good for you. Also, please sign your talkpage posts. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:50, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
You took that alot better than I thought you would. *Shrugs* - Lady Eagle (there I signed it for you, you don't need to know my name) — Unsigned, by: 204.28.108.116 / talk 15:55, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
By the way, in case you think I'm lying, look where I'm editing from since you have my IP on here. -Lady Eagle — Unsigned, by: 204.28.108.116 / talk 16:01, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
Yes, yes, I saw the IP. But seriously, why did you think we would be upset? Did you think we believed young conservatives didn't exist at your school? Besides, you're not the first person claiming to be from a school where a mass shooting recently took place. As far as trolling goes, you're hardly original. RoninMacbeth (talk) 16:58, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

@RoninMacbeth So with "hardly original" you are basically calling me a crisis actor... While your site claims to debunk those kind of tards... Anyone who thinks there are no conservatives at MSD must live under a rock considering I can think of at least too people from here that have made the news with conservative stuff, but what makes you think I'm a conservative? No, I just like getting people who obviously don't really care to make asses of themselves on the internet. MSDStrong (talk) 23:57, 15 March 2018 (UTC) (I got the signing thing right, yay go me!)

Your crisis actor comment is a misinterpretation of what I said. And I considered responding antagonistically, or just not responding at all. So instead, I'm going to give some advice to you, if you are what I think you are.
Just stop. Just go home, do your homework, find someone nice and go out with them (if that's what you're into, if not then just relax at home. I get the feeling), do well in school, and just do something. I don't want you to become another Grawp, just trolling wikis for the hell of it. No one likes them. Granted, I may not be especially popular myself, but still.
Just go home and relax. Live. My condolences for what happened at your school. RoninMacbeth (talk) 01:04, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Another one[edit]

Whatever the question is, shooting young persons is #not# the answer.

Most people do not go into the profession of teaching in order to have guns.

Those who are most in favour of guns are 'pro-life.'

Each time there is another massacre they say 'Never again' - and it happens again.

Hypocrisy red in tooth and claw. 86.191.0.29 (talk) 19:58, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Most who are in favor of guns also support military spending, I'm betting. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 21:18, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
it's a well-known fact that the so-called pro-lifers think life begins at conception, ends at birth, and begins again at death. if you don't support actual living, breath, and conscious kids and instead support the right to bear arms over kids' lives, you are as far as i'm concerned not pro-life (ironically i think that would make them pro-choice in terms of guns but eh) БaбyЛuigiOнФire🚓(T|C) 21:22, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
One can be in favour of some military and police spending, and accept 'hunting, shooting and fishing' but be against 'nihilistic nutters with guns.' (Nutters #choose# to be so - other people cannot help the 'quirks in their brains', or work around them) - and one can be in favour of 'taking responsibility and precautions' and be pro-choice.
The NRA and their supporters have power without responsibility - and more than the individuals killed suffer.
There is seemingly no hope of change. 86.191.0.29 (talk) 22:35, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Harper-Mercer and Woo Woo[edit]

I know I'm some years late to the party, but Harper-Mercer wasn't an anti-theist:

"The guy did this strictly for satanic purposes." [2]

His interests included:

Left-hand Path

Magick and Occult

Paganism and Wicca

Not Religious, but Spiritual [3]

Here's some gems I found in his writings:

"I have been forced to align myself with demonic forces."

"I now serve the demonic Heirarchy."

"My success in Hell is assured."

"My religion is not a formal one, but more so a new age one. I’ve aligned myself with the occult since I was born."

"For Satan I do this, for the Darkness I do this." [4]

Harper-Mercer may have been some sort of theist. --Rudyard 21:54, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
