Need[edit]
There so needs to be a page for Tim Minchin. His contributions to reason, music and comedy must not be overlooked. Problem is, I haven't the slightest clue what to put in a page about a person...

- I concur, the man is one of my comedy gods, ifonly for the 9-minute beat poem "Storm" which does more to refute woo than we ever will :) --PsyGremlinPraat! 20:59, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- He's so eloquent, in that kind of creepy serial killer way but not like Hannibal Lecter but sort of like the guy down the street who mows every day despite his lawn being made of gravel and cacti. Aphoxema (talk) 00:11, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- You have... er... interesting neighbours :) Just seen his "So fucking rock" show, where he opens by perfectly miming the instruments to his opening song. Genius. --PsyGremlinKhuluma! 00:16, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Oh hell yes. This has been on my personal To Do list for some time... pathetic 00:32, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Minchin for honourary president of the RationalWiki Foundation? pathetic 01:08, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. Also, doesn't fit in here but my favorite is "Inflatable You". CrundyTalk nerdy to me 13:05, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Movie[edit]
Good find on the Storm movie thingy. Should be fun to watch. --PsyGremlinTal! 14:42, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've noticed that a lot of woo-bashing has a gendered aspect (ignoring the mansplaining going on in the movie) to it. You don't find many "skeptics" calling out broscience practitioners for believing in bullshit, do you? Just those stereotypically associated with women: horoscopes, herbalism, and whatnot.
