Talk:True Cross
Um[edit]
Um, move to "fun", perhaps? human 21:50, 31 December 2007 (EST)
- Well, it's not really "fun". The True Cross is real, at least for Christians. If you want to move it because it's irrelevant, just delete the article. No sense in moving a serious yet irrelevant article to the funspace just because you don't want to get rid of anything. -- Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 23:58, 31 December 2007 (EST)
- Sure, I'm fine with deleting, too. I just wanted to respect the author(s) by preserving their work. human 01:51, 1 January 2008 (EST)
- Thanks. Streona 18:46, 3 January 2008 (EST)
- Was that a thanks as in, "Thanks for being considerate, you may delete it now" or a "Thanks for discussing first, now leave it"? -- Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 18:51, 3 January 2008 (EST)
- Thanks. Streona 18:46, 3 January 2008 (EST)

No, its thanks for the respect - do not delete, since this shows the idiocy and the underlying violence and anti-semitism of some of our non Rational God-bothering chums. And why do you appear to imagine youself to be called Bodhan ? Streona 19:49, 3 January 2008 (EST)
- Maybe you need glasses... :) -- Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 02:49, 4 January 2008 (EST)
- OK, so move to "fun:" then. he doesn't imagine himself to be called Bohdan, it says "Wandalize me, Bohdan". Oh, and can you please sign "in line" not two lines below your comments? human 21:01, 3 January 2008 (EST)
Duplicate?[edit]
I'd swear I saw an edit to a similar article earlier - a joke about the bits of wood being enough to build an Ark, by Xena. Do we have something like "one true cross" as well? (no). Hmmmmm. ħuman 18:24, 5 April 2009 (EDT)
A Joke for your Reading Pleasure[edit]
If you put together all the pieces of relics said to be fragments of the true cross, you could build Noah's ark. --Paradox (talk) 02:56, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- As mentioned in the section directly above this one...? ħuman 03:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Crux Terminatus[edit]
So it's like when the Emperor's Terminator armor is broken up and placed in stone crosses on other suits of Terminator armor? –Inquisitor Ehrenstein (Talk | Contribs | Ragebox) 07:44, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
A 19th century take on the True Cross[edit]
From an old magazine and paraphrasing somewhat - the Cross on which Jesus was executed was the one they normally used much like the contemporary 19th century gibbet, and was used again, rather than being specially constructed for Jesus and discarded thereafter.
