User talk:Enchanted13/Bill O'Reilly
So far, this re-write has the endorsement of the Punk. Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 17:55, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks!--Colonel Sanders (talk) 17:57, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
Looks good to me. Maybe put the YouTube videos in as links in a general stupidity section or something. And Glenn Beck usually described himself as a "rodeo clown" before he became SRS BSNSS on Faux. Otherwise, endorsed. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 18:35, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- Trouble is, the embedded youtube vids dominate the main article. While I think its' good to have an available collection they need to be moved into external links or refs, perhaps with the embedded videos being replaced by selected quotes or general descriptions (remember, it's faster to read than to listen to someone guff!). postate 18:48, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- That is precisely why I started this rewrite. If anyone feels compelled to improve it, please do! I haven't been on for a while and appreciate the support for this rewrite.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 14:51, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
So...
If I add a bit more and find an image or two, would this be considered to replace the current O'Reilly article?--Colonel Sanders (talk) 22:26, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Move links on the original to this page. Could use a brief mention of the Malmedy, Jeremy Glick, and 15-year-old kid incidents, which are his most infamous controversies. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 22:30, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, and falafels, gotta have falafels. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 22:31, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- All right. And I was gonna do synopses of books of his, especially the ones I've read including A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity, Pinheads and Patriots, and Culture Warrior.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 22:35, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- That's almost as masochistic as Feredir. Is one of those his self-insert novel? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 22:41, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I regularly read books written by right-wing pundits for entertainment. The book you're thinking of is Those Who Trespass. I've also read Sean Hannity's Deliver Us From Evil and Michael Savage's Trickle Up Poverty.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 22:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I've read a few chapters here and there of those types, but they get pretty repetitive after a while. I did, however, read a bunch of Dinesh D'Souza's stuff, which is slightly more intellectual wingnuttery. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 22:54, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- While I'm not familiar with D'Souza's works, from the article, he kinda sounds like John Hagee, whose books I have read and sermons I have viewed. More political than spiritual.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 22:58, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have several Limbaugh (both brothers) and Savage lying around. I should probably write something about that soon. ТyTalk. 23:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- What books of Savage have you read, Ty?--Colonel Sanders (talk) 23:02, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- The Savage Nation and The Political Zoo. My copy of the former is
sadlylost, but the second one would be quite good if I felt like pulling a Feredir. ТyTalk. 23:03, 23 May 2011 (UTC)- The Savage Nation was hilarious, and The Political Zoo was just completely stupid. If you ever get the chance, read his latest Trickle Up Poverty.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 23:05, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, though at the time I bought it I agreed with it. How the tables turn... ТyTalk. 23:07, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- And how about Glenn Beck's books? I've read Arguing With Idiots, An Inconvenient Book, Broke, and The Overton Window.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 23:18, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I don't have any beck, but I do have R. Limbaugh's The Way Things Ought To Be and See I Told You So. I also have D. Limbaugh's Bankrupt. I also have a really old Take My Gun If You Dare from a while back. It invokes Godwin. ТyTalk. 00:20, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Nice. I haven't read D. Limbaugh. Have you read any of Ann Coulter?--Colonel Sanders (talk) 00:28, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Нет. I do have the memoirs of Richard Nixon, and The Committee of Unamerican Activities Facts on Communism yes that one. ТyTalk. 00:32, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- McCarthy. Classic. The best read by far lately has to be Dubya's Decision Points.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 00:34, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

(ec)I found the stuff Coulter wrote on creationism floating around the internet. It was basically copypasta of Behe and Dembski. Also, I heard parts of Decision Points were lifted from another book. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 00:35, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- I heard Karl Rove ghostwrote Decision Points. And that Bill Ayers ghostwrote Dreams From My Father.--Colonel Sanders (talk) 00:39, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
