Policy proposal[edit]
I propose changing the date format of the group log from the American mm-dd-yy to the proper Danish format dd-mm-yy. --AKjeldsenCum dissensie 06:48, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
- I wondered why the format was the US version myself... ħuman 15:07, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
- I used the US format becuase the US is the only current superpower. Change it if you want. But this should really go on the project page under a "policy proposals" section. Bohdan2 18:27, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
- Personally I feel all dates should be given as (yy)yy/mm/dd because it makes fucking sense. Regardless of who has the biggest army. The reason is that sorting puts them in chronological order when expressed that way. But here I will do as the Danes do (whatever that is). ħuman 19:13, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
- You seem to not care much about superpower status. I know for a fact that if that little insignificant Wale country was a superpower we would never hear the end of it. Bohdan2 00:54, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- The Danes are divided on this issue (despite what Anders might say). Lets put this to vote. Bohdan2 21:13, 28 July 2008 (EDT)

Humans ridiculous yyyy-mm-dd[edit]
I just realized there are three of us, and each of us supports one of the three above, leaving us where we started. We have no choice but to contact Wikinperpreter. Why doesn't he edit here anymore? Will someone email him? Bohdan2 21:21, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
- In the current context free environment, yyyy-mm-dd allows for the hypothetical sorting by dates. Exasperate me!Sheesh! Not the most impressive contributor here 21:24, 28 July 2008 (EDT)

- I don't know if that added anything to the discussion; I haven't had my coffee yet. Anyway, the obvious solution is to invite a fourth person to the group. Didn't we do that already? --AKjeldsenCum dissensie 04:24, 29 July 2008 (EDT)
- Seventh. We need Severn Members for a prismatic quorum. ħuman 04:27, 29 July 2008 (EDT)
- I think that's the first time in human (ha!) history that sentence has been used. Oh hey, I just got the greatest idea. Maybe if I voted as well, the present deadlock would actually be broken. Brb, democracy. --AKjeldsenCum dissensie 04:29, 29 July 2008 (EDT)
- I agree that yyyy-mm-dd is useful in text tables or for file names as it makes a sensible sort key. However, when differentiating between dates in articles it makes sense to start with days as that is the first piece of information processed by the brain. With longer intervals you can drop the day and just the month and for even longer intervals you only need the year. For example Lady Jane Grey ruled England from 10 - 19 July 1553, King Edward VII ruled from 20 January - 11 December, 1936 and Queen Victoria ruled from 20 June 1837 - 22 January 1901. The only votes that count are Danish writers. By my count it is now 1 - 1. We need the Interpreter to solve this. Will someone please email him? Bohdan2 23:04, 29 July 2008 (EDT)
- Looks like 2:1 to me. ħuman 00:34, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- Well, you could be correct. Somewhere on this wiki, Anders identified himself as part German. I only counted him as 2/5ths of a person based on this (we round down of course). But if he counts as a full person, then yes its 2:1 and I concede defeat. Bohdan2 00:52, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- Aw, it's not defeat, it's democracy! Or something like that... ħuman 00:59, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- So the Dano-German is a full person? Alright. Then we shall use the winning format. We, the Conservapedia Danish Writers Group, are a model society. Bohdan2 01:02, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- Oy, I have Danish ancestry (As well as German, English, Scottish, and Irish), therefore making it 3:1. Pinto's5150 Talk 01:04, 30 July 2008 (EDT)

Hey Bean, if you want in on this secret society you need to submit a Danish related stub article to me for review. its just that easy. If its up to our standards, you get to join with no membership fee! Bohdan2 01:08, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- Can't join, don't have a CP account. Pinto's5150 Talk 01:23, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
- You have two options. Either create one, or post stuff here and I can copy it for you. Bohdan2 01:25, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
Awards[edit]
Since our quarrel over date format ended so well, I say awards for all. lets vote on this. Bohdan2 01:15, 30 July 2008 (EDT)

- Henry, is that you? I'd be improving the Danishness of CP except that Aschlafly blocked me for six months for bein "silly"... ħuman 00:57, 9 March 2009 (EDT)
- Does that mean you support kicking out Kjeldsen? Bohdan2 21:13, 9 March 2009 (EDT)
