Name[edit]

You say your name is Oliver J. Grind, does the J stand for Jerk? Huh?? Jrssr5 12:56, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

Now don't make me stop this car! CЯacke®
Yes, yes it does. ollïegrïnd 13:04, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Also, this appears to be a personal attack. I was promised a CLEAN SLATE when I came here but I see that liberals are far too over-reliant on mockery and deceit to give anyone a fair shot. I fully expect Mr or Mrs Jrssr5 to be blocked for this. ollïegrïnd 13:09, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
I'm sorry Ollïe ... sorry you're such a jerk! Jrssr5 13:39, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
There does not seem to be an emoticon to express the mixture of rage and indignation that I'm feeling right now. ollïegrïnd 14:08, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Worst post ever. Jrssr5 14:15, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
A partian shot? Obviously you must be liberal! Why don't you just come out and say it? I now know your blood type and what kind of car you drive with 95% certainty. I will be adding this to the Examples of Liberal Deceit article shortly. ollïegrïnd 14:18, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

<---I'll give you a partian shot when I'm done with you ... Don't mess with the bull or you'll get the horns. Jrssr5 14:23, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

Another example of the fallacy of liberal logic. You want chimeras so that you can become a minotaur yet you freely admit that you are against Centaur Rodeos on the ground of animal rights. ollïegrïnd 14:28, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Animals have rights ... the right to be eaten. And until they allow satyrs or harpies in the rodeo, I will be against Centaur Rodeos, keeping them out is just another form of your party holding the minorities back. You can't win with your conservative logic (yes its an oxymoron). Jrssr5 14:39, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
YOU HAVE PROVEN YOUR IGNORANCE!!! You have obviously never been to a centaur rodeo before! Harpies, satyrs, minotaurs, hippogriffs, unicorns, pegasi, unasi (unicorn + pegasus), mermaids, griffins, wyverns, cockatrices, and baby dragons are featured prominently. Maybe you should get the facts before making wild accusations. If you had written a book on centaur rodeos (I have written several) you would have learned all this. Instead you tried reading a book, a common liberal fallacy. Goatspeed! ollïegrïnd 14:49, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Ollie, I think you need to sell your Magic Cards and D&D set to finance your move out of your mother's basement. Once in the real world you will see how reading a book is better than writing. Jrssr5 15:12, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Magic and D&D? I was talking about Operation Centaur Rodeo in Iraq. Typical liberal behavior. Why do you hate the troops?! ollïegrïnd 15:23, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Is that a government site? If so, my tax dollars paid for that so I own it, and I don't give you permission to use that to try to pwn me. Now please stfu noob. Jrssr5 09:44, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
I know you don't pay taxes. It appears that you are the n00b. THE TABLES HAVE TURNED! ollïegrïnd 09:50, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

<---I paid my taxes last year. I ask you to please put the table back and continue rolling your 12-sided die away from here. Jrssr5 10:01, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Once again you have shown that you are liberal by your use of mockery and deceit, things which only liberals partake in. We could continue here but it's obvious to all involved that you and your liberal ways have been severely pwn3d by me and my god, Odin. Thorspeed ollïegrïnd 11:42, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
I demand to see proof that Odin is your god. How do I know you're not the one using liberal deceit? Jrssr5 12:37, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee ollïegrïnd 13:15, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
I'm sending my 6-toed cats after you. Jrssr5 13:35, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
I'm not scarred of three 12-hour old kittens! BRING IT! ollïegrïnd 14:49, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
They'd take you and your cats any day. You're going down old man! Jrssr5 15:33, 17 July 2007 (CDT)

Law of gravitation[edit]

Given two objects, m1 and m2, where m1 is fixed, m2 is the variable, and r0, the distance between the center of mass of each object, is fixed experiment to experiment, the time to impact is related to and varies with the second mass m2. colloquially, "heavier objects fall faster." When m1 is much greater than m2, the time to impact depends on m1; in such cases, the affect of m2 on time to impact is not measurable. HeartGoldShow me your intolerance 15:55, 17 July 2007 (CDT)

Acceleration relative to the rotating Earth[edit]

The acceleration measured on the rotating surface of the Earth is not quite the same as the acceleration that is measured for a free-falling body because of the centrifugal force. In other words, the apparent acceleration in the rotating frame of reference is the total gravity vector minus a small vector toward the north-south axis of the Earth, corresponding to staying stationary in that frame of reference. ollïegrïnd 06:40, 18 July 2007 (CDT)

That was an extremely intelligent response. Where did you copy-vio that from? Jrssr5 08:50, 19 July 2007 (CDT)
Wikipedia, where else? ollïegrïnd 09:08, 19 July 2007 (CDT)

Recent Changes[edit]

Hi olli - re your 'main page comment recent changes'- initially I agreed with you but there are occasionally rude, vulgar or downright obnoxious statements - usually in talk. Landed on by a newcomer to the site these might give the wrong impression. By the time someone has got through to recent pages they're more likely to realise what RW's about. I've no idea why icewedge deleted it though. (sorry - can't post to the actual page - I've a 32k edit limit on my browser- it's a long story)Keepthe faith 11:45, 24 July 2007 (CDT)

I think he removed it because it was redundant, and not really useful. Yes, sometimes a new article might catch someone's eye, but the last five edits are often so ephemereal as to be meaningless. To say nothing of language in talk pages, and also edit comments. And there is, after all, a link to "recent changes" on every page. Now, if the section was "last ten (mainspace) articles modified", and just listed links to them, and left out repetitions, that would be cool. humanbe in 14:17, 24 July 2007 (CDT)
