Nicer templates welcome

I saw you imported {{draft categories}} from Wikipedia. It's a good fit. A large portion of our templates are older Wikipedia templates, but newer ones can work nowadays. They often need module pages; I imported some last year which remained unused, including what the draft categories template now uses. If you think of some more that could be useful on RW, feel free to import that too.

Some things on Wikipedia are a bit of a pain and it's not clear if there's a point though, with templates needing templates and/or modules needing modules many levels deep, when it does little more than what we have. Maybe at some point the cite templates will be upgraded, but that's a lot of baggage to bring over. --ApooftGnegiol (talk) 16:58, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

I might be up to that task one day, whenever I'm ready to melt my brain with endless copy-pasting lol! But in all seriousness, I actually found the template when I looked up "Undertale Yellow" on Wikipedia wondering if it was open for me to create, only to find that a page had been created and, while not low-quality enough to completely trash, wasn't high-quality enough for a mainspace page, so they moved it to a draft. I was looking over the draft in curiosity when I found the template at the bottom! I realized that RW didn't already have such a template, and since I know a lot of templates on RW are forked over from Wikipedia already, I decided it would be helpful to have and would be useful for me to keep track of categories I wanted to have on my drafts that seemed easier and more efficient than commenting-in-and-out! So it was totally my pleasure ^^

And though I know it comes as a disappointment to most RationalWikians, the answer isn't a goat either! Actually, I'd choose to be a housecat because they're adorable and (usually) very fluffy, they get pampered rotten by their owners, they can sleep and eat all day long and still be the most agile little gymnasts, and they even have nine lives! Scientific journals may say otherwise, but in a world where I can biologically and genetically transform into a completely different animal, how ridiculous could it be?
