Adrian Vermeule is a conservative legal figure known for his creation of "common good constitutionalism" and his embrace of a theocratic government.
Common good constitutionalism[edit]
According to Vermeule "originalism has now outlived its utility, and has become an obstacle to the development of a robust, substantively conservative approach to constitutional law and interpretation."[1] and like his friend Josh Hammer, Vermeule is a firm believer in making sure his legal theory justifies his already existing views.
