Delete[edit]

  1. Why do we need this film mentioned on RW? It doesn't sound like the fearmongering peak oil doomcrying of Oil Smoke and Mirrors and pointing out that our current economic system would be in trouble without oil is kind of a "duh"-message. Axe it. ScepticWombat (talk) 23:49, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Keep[edit]

  1. Improve not delete. Also, "running out of" uranium? Debunk this stupid film. Herr FüzzyCätPötätö (talk/stalk) 00:20, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
  2. No reason to delete - David Gerard (talk) 07:19, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
  3. Haven't seen the film, but even if it isn't a "fearmongering peak oil doomcrying", then it would still make sense to have an article on it, to explain *why* it's not one, and expand on why the points made in the film are true. Explaining *good* science is an important part of "Analyzing and refuting pseudoscience and the anti-science movement.". Carpetsmoker (talk) 08:32, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Goat[edit]

  • Considering the initial response I've received, I suggest that both this and Oil Smoke and Mirrors be merged into peak oil in a section about peak oil "talking points". The peak oil article is very short and could do with expansion, and splitting all this peak oil crankery off into articles on each and every peaker crankomentary ever made is not very helpful. I'm starting to feel like some kind of spambot here, but I phrased myself so agreeably on the talk page for this movie (and the one for "Oil, Smoke and Mirrors") that I will repeat myself once again: The contents of this article should be merged with the main Peak Oil article. We shouldn't lose track of these particular documentaries that roam about the web, never mind since most if not all of them claim to present "new" or "novel" or "never-before-put-into-flowchart-format" concepts and discoveries regarding these isses - something the truthers will always be able to accuse us of ignorance over. So even if everyone agrees on the worst about this specific article, atleast bake notice of the movie, its name, and the valuable bits of information regarding it into the main (and awfully short) Peak Oil article.
