Delete[edit]

  1. Surprisingly for someone who wants to cure autism, this guy isn’t actually a crank. He’s not an anti-vaxxer, and doesn’t buy into any of the current bullshit “cures”, he just hopes there is one in the future. His only “crime” seems to be really hating the ill-defined neurodiversity movement, and being unhappy that he has autism.
This article was written by a user who clearly has some sort of vendetta against the guy, has hardly edited RW before or since, also wrote his WP article and was later banned from that site for sockpuppetry.
Mitchell is a very obscure blogger; Google his name and you won’t find any mention of him, all the results are about a goalkeeper for a UK football team (not even a particularly famous one) of the same name. He hasn’t posted on his blog regularly since 2019, with only two posts in 2020 and none so far this year.
I’ve written three paragraphs and haven’t even mentioned the contents of the article itself. Unsurprisingly, it’s all a bunch of inconsequential drama. A paragraph is devoted to “the Zach T-shirt saga”. Christopher (talk) 15:03, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

  5. Christopher's rationale is not disagreeable in the slightest. Delete this as soon as you can. 2A02:120B:C3FB:3B40:7D77:553A:7DFD:63BE (talk) 17:24, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

  7. Actually, I support a delete based on how obscure this guy is-Hastur! (talk) 19:04, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Keep[edit]

  1. The problems noted with the article can all be fixed by editing. I don't think the 'neurodiversity movement' is a POV we must endorse, and public controvrsialists don't have to be crackpots to merit articles IMO. Smerdis of Tlön, wekʷōm teḱsos. 16:14, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
If he isn’t a crackpot, he’s just a guy who writes about how he wishes he didn’t have autism. Why should we have an article on him? Who cares about him enough to rewrite the article? I agree we shouldn’t necessarily endorse neurodiversity, the fact that the article treated it as gospel was what initially caught my interest. Christopher (talk) 16:28, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Goat[edit]

  • I'd support a rewrite with more favorable take on the man. Neurodiversity is dumb and we ought to expose it. Definitely crank idea/pseudoscience-Hastur! (talk) 18:58, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
