Talk:Broscience
merge?[edit]
Should this be merged with bodybuilding woo or vice-versa? Or kept separate articles? Secret Squirrel (talk) 00:56, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe not on second look. Bodybuilding woo is more about products on the market, broscience is more about word of mouth rumors - they're related though. Secret Squirrel (talk) 01:01, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
It might be better to reference the internet meme referred to by "if the speaker even lifts", since this sentence seems ungrammatical otherwise. Bongolian (talk) 19:40, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
comparison to women's weightloss circles[edit]
""broscience" is usually applied to such notions passed around among men"
Examples 2 through 5 are found and promoted significantly more in women's weight loss circles that in the bodybuilding community. Literally negating the definition of the word broscience. — Unsigned, by: 47.54.33.124 / talk / contribs
- Analogous notions passed around in women's weight loss circles wouldn't negate the claimed existence of broscience, though would be interesting analogous bad thinking - David Gerard (talk) 19:25, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
That huge Barrett quote[edit]
needs summarising and putting into the text - David Gerard (talk) 09:44, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
