Typo?[edit]

In the CBD section of the article, speaking of epilepsy Its states “In 2018, an FDA panel recommended CBD a the very narrowly defined treatment,” Should it state “ In 2018, an FDA panel recommended CBD AT the very narrowly defined treatment,”? I apologize in advance if this is an improper way to address this thank you all for the awesome work you do. — Unsigned, by: 73.218.237.230 / talk

Thanks. It should have been "as" not "at". I have now fixed it. Bongolian (talk) 18:21, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

Contradiction - mental health[edit]

"The 2017 NASEM review concluded:

"Cannabis use does not appear to increase the likelihood of developing depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder.
"Heavy cannabis users are more likely to report thoughts of suicide than non-users.
"Regular cannabis use is likely to increase the risk for developing social anxiety disorder."

I can't read the referenced study, but at face value there appears to be a contradiction here. Kauri0.o (talk) 21:56, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Yeah, that's a regrettable thing about studies in and around mental health. Weird stuff emerges. Antidepressants, for example, help depression but also have a short term increased suicide risk. Also, social anxiety and generalized anxiety, while both anxieties and both unpleasant, are different in their triggers (or lack thereof). That said, I didn't read the study paper either. If you actually wanted to read it, you can click the article link and, in the upper right, click on "read online" without giving up personal info or money. Feel free to read, digest, and edit as appropriate. MarmotHead (talk) 22:08, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
