Mission tag[edit]

Isn't this worthy of a {{mission}} tag? (or is that only when CUR starts an article?) ToastToastand marmite 05:14, 22 April 2009 (EDT)

I've made some attempts at RWifying it - having the boring sciency bit in its own section for easy skipping, and that hagfish section. It's still crap, but there's hope for it as long as nobody tries to make it an encyclopedia entry. Yes, Nasreddin, that includes you. Totnesmartin 05:31, 22 April 2009 (EDT)
Okay, okay, I'll keep my fin(ger)s off it. - Nasreddin 11:45, 22 April 2009 (EDT)
It's not so much "keep off" as "we're not an encyclopedia" - a mixture of facts and snark is what we're after, like your Laestadianism article. Totnesmartin 12:03, 22 April 2009 (EDT)

Mission[edit]

Nothing in here is associated with the mission. Last time I checked, RW wasn't a zoology guide. I think there are some possible connections to the mission that aren't in the article, like the whole fish-on-Fridays thing, but nothing that couldn't just go into other, more mission-oriented articles. I must say I agree. even the hagfish section, which I defended eighteen months ago, now looks gratuitous, forced, lame and silly. It's part of the vague drift towards an encyclopedia that we got into in 2008-9. This article should sleep with the fishes. Totnesmartin (talk) 20:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
I ahree that the case for keeping this article is weak at best. Delete. Conservative Punk (talk) 20:51, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
I believe I said something like DELETE about 18 months ago. I too ahree. 20:54, 6 October 2010 (UTC) ~~
Pointless, off-mission article. Delete. --Oniontalk/edits 20:55, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Nicely forked, Onion. 20:58, 6 October 2010 (UTC) SusanG Toast

Mmmmm, fish, it's dead, stick a fork in it! ħumanUser talk:Human 21:11, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Mission is terminated[edit]

It's a fork page now, which is better. Totnesmartin (talk) 08:42, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Mmmm, fish'n'chips, best eaten without a fork. ħumanUser talk:Human 08:51, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Not even a chip fork? My local chippie has gone back to wooden ones. This is not a waste of trees. Totnesmartin (talk) 20:54, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
