Keep article[edit]
I am pretty sure the over-all conclusion is to keep this article. Joshua Conner Moon's racism has been well documented and he is a notable cyberbully. Can you unlock the page? Anti racist activist (talk) 15:33, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- The page lock is due to the fact the article has attracted a lot of his supporters trying to Vandalise it. I think when you get Autopatrolled you'll be able to edit. Also, delete currently has 7 votes with keep having 6. Consensus has not been reached by any means. Christopher (talk) 15:41, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
I think we need to talk about why the page was made and what its intended purpose is. You see, a few months ago, someone with a grudge against Kiwifarms started doxxing, threatening and harrassing Joshua's family. This included attacking distant relatives and trying to make them lose their jobs or lose custody of their children. The grudge holder claimed the harassment would stop if Kiwifarms went down; Josh complied, but the threats kept coming anyways. So the farms came back and of course, the threats are still coming. Now the grudge holder is using this article to harrass Joshua by posting links to it wherever he thinks it could stir up trouble. Most people seem to think this article was created for the sole purpose of continuing Josh's harassment. He may not be a saint, but he doesn't deserve to be targeted like this. Lollla (talk) 05:03, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- No he certainly isn't a saint. He himself partakes in and condones doxxing himself so I have little sympathy for him. Christopher (Talk) 14:47, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- You are not making any sense Lollla. Joshua harasses innocent people on Kiwi Farms everyday, he posts their personal details or photographs of their families, makes fun of black people just for being black or autistic people for being autistic. He said he wanted to genocide Muslims, he supports terrorism. The guy is a hateful cyber racist. And what harassment? The entire article is sourced to Joshua's own writings. Perhaps he shouldn't go around the web posting anti-Semitism and racism and setting up a website just to bash and insult people he doesn't like. He has made a lot of enemies but none of that has anything to do with Rationalwiki. All this article does is cite his own words. Anti racist activist (talk) 17:12, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
Would it be acceptable to make similar articles about those who are going after him, then? Using only sourced facts and things they have said in their own words, no guesswork or libel. What kind of people can get articles here? As far as I can tell, articles like this have nothing to do with analyzing and refuting pseudoscience and the anti-science movement, this site's goal according to the front page.Lollla (talk) 20:38, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
Reformat article[edit]
I feel like this article should be reformatted. Right now, it is primarily composed of a list of Moon's various (disgusting) quotes about politics. While the quotes make his bigotry clear, I feel like the description of his worldviews would be better fit as paragraphs citing the statements, with occasional appearances of his original statements. For example, there would probably be a sentence along the lines of this:
"Moon has used a racial slur to refer to Barack Obama on multiple occasions." This statement would cite the two Kiwi Farms posts where he refers to Barack Obama as the N-word.
If I could, I would edit the article to follow the paragraph format instead of the Quotemine format. However, the page is locked (to prevent vandalism by Moon's fanbase), and I am unable to change the article. I request that the article be changed to follow a more professional, wiki-like format, while still making Moon's bigotry clear. This is an example of what I perceive to be a better article about Moon.
Sincerely, CJ-Moki (talk) 04:49, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- I disagree. KiwiFarms-style people tend to interpret "Text with citation.[1]" as "biased/liberal" interpretations of what the person is saying. This way, the words speak for themselves. It's harder to paint us as biased when we're just repeating his words. Mʀ. Wʜɪsᴋᴇʀs, Esϙᴜɪʀᴇ (talk/stalk) 06:14, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- Except that explaining something exactly for what it is (for example, saying that Joshua Conner Moon used a racist term to describe Barack Obama multiple times) is neither biased, nor necessarily motivated by politics. However, if lurking through parts of Kiwi Farms out of what TV Tropes would call "Bile Fascination" has taught me anything, it's that Kiwi Farmers tend to be extremely misguided people looking for laughs at very best and utterly reprehensible human beings (like Null himself) at worst. It makes sense that most of them wouldn't be able to tell the difference between explaining statements exactly for what they are and deliberately misinterpreting somebody's words. Now that I think about it, the article is probably best off the way it is. It's hard to misinterpret blatantly bigoted statements like "Good. Muslims need a good genocide." Thank you for explaining why my proposition wasn't a good idea for this article. CJ-Moki (talk) 07:14, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Kiwi Farms[edit]
I've lurked this site for awhile and know some drama has happened here with Kiwi Farms, but why was the Kiwi Farms page deleted and redirected here? Their solicitation for witch hunts towards people they deem laughable or inferior, and their justification that it gets actual monsters (say, predictors) in trouble (and not so importantly, their hatred towards "spergs" like me), make them a perfect on-mission topic. They're a hate group by any other name.--Spoony (talk) 10:55, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
- A hate site??? Are they even a hate community? Last time I remembered, they were users of all stripes and colors from different backgrounds. Including people with Aspergers. It's a given the community's beliefs is that just because you have Aspergers, or if you are gay, or if you have a weird fetish or if you are of a different race, it doesn't mean you should use such attributes as crutch for sympathy or as an excuse for bad temperment and behavior. Are sure Null wasn't just using sarcasm or hyperbole? Sometimes I say something ludicrous that I don't really mean. Usually when they say things like "spergs," they're referring to irresponsible man children that use their autism as a crutch. For instance, no member, or at least no repected member of that community targets or "harasses" "Ulillia" who is known to have a number of mental issues, including aspergers, in fact, I remember a lot of community members being touched by his struggle to be a functioning member of society, unlike all the other "targets", who, don't even try to be functional, but rather bank on victimhood and blame everything bad in their life on "trolls" and "cyberbullies." I've been a member and an observer of the CWC community for a long time. Practically since it was established back when it was dedicated to trolling Christian Weston Chandler, the infamous creator of Sonichu and the World's Most Untouchable Loser. It was originally established as the "CWCKI" forums, made for further discussion of Christian Weston Chandler (or CWC for shorthand). In addition, there was the /cwc/ board over at the late 789chan, which later became the /cow/ board for "lolcows," eccentric individual internet denizens who become laughing stocks on the internet. CWC was considered the pinnacle of all "lolcows" since he had a knack for perpetually humiliating himself and sinking to new lows losing any dignity he never had all the way. His entire life is to this day, a sad joke. The movement of the focus in discussions to other lolcows on the imageboards influenced the CWCKI board, and the board changed it's name to the KIWI farms. Especially since CWC does not produce much "content" these days, since he's a broken man by now, but still delusional(Chris thinks that Sonichu still has potential and was at least somewhat of a good idea, even David Gonterman knows how much of failure he is and was). So far, I know of many talented, interesting, and thoughtful people on these boards. LOL Cow wiki[edit]
It seems to me that you guys forgot about the main feature of Kiwi Farms: The LOLcow Wiki. One cannot Talk about Null nor about Kiwifarms without going in length on the culture of LOLcow hunting; where one stalk on the less fortunate (namely disenfranchise, or disabled) people as a form of perverse spectacle and entertainment. It's the "FreakShow" of the internet, but with no means of protection for the freaks on display. This may seems harsh to use such a derogatory terminology, but it's the best way of putting it. Also note that Encyclopedia Dramatica did this as well, but to an certain extent. Melonhead (talk) 04:13, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
LOLcow LLC[edit]
I failed to see why you didn't include the Wiki that he created under the same company name he used for Kiwifarms.Melonhead (talk) 19:38, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
deletion[edit]
There's now a separate page Kiwi Farms. So I deleted this talk. If you want to talk about "lolcows" or whatever do it on the new Kiwi Farms talk.Skeptical (talk) 20:36, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Skeptical We never delete talk pages or even individual talk page comments, even if the page itself has been deleted or redirected. Christopher (talk) 20:50, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
