Sources (tl;dr: white female victims are a little less than perfect, so let's imply they deserve to die)[edit]

I gave numerous sources for my claims. What else do you want? Or are you just grave kissing? Not to be mean about it, but it's almost as bad as boot lickers sticking up for bad cops. KyleButler (talk) 16:26, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- To me, the lack of sources isn’t the problem. One of the actual problems is the last sentence, “demonize” implies that mass shooters are consistently better people than the media gives them credit for, and they frequently are mentally ill. Christopher (talk) 16:32, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, take that part off and just leave it with "Media outlets almost always depict the victims of shootings, like Bailey Holt,https://heavy.com/news/2018/01/bailey-holt-nicole-marshall-county-high-school-hs-victim-photo/ http://www.insideedition.com/kentucky-high-school-shooting-bailey-holt-made-one-last-call-her-mom-40133 https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/5412310/heartbreaking-first-pics-of-bailey-holt-15-killed-in-ketucky-school-gun-rampage/ http://www.marshallcountydaily.com/2018/01/25/bailey-holt/ and Rachel Scott https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Scott https://globalnews.ca/news/1335076/rachels-challenge-promotes-little-acts-of-kindness-among-calgary-kids/ http://www.today.com/id/26184891/vp/30294052#30307357 in a very positive light, sometimes literally questioning why anyone would want to kill such wonderful people." which is referenced, it was just weird to me to leave it with one sentence. If you really want to see distasteful, most of these victims are white girls, and white girls are mean, racist bitches. Furthermore, you often see these girls are part of fundie organizations, which means they are probably MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters, or in the case of the Columbine girls, people who would be like that if they were alive. Personally, I think that's why they get killed, they're mean, nasty sluts who piss off the wrong people, but I know you can't say that in the article because it isn't "politically correct". You almost never see a nice black girl get killed in one of these things because black girls are nice and don't piss people off like this. I get having to be PC, but stop the grave kissing already. KyleButler (talk) 16:47, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- Well that was sexist as all fuck, also @Christopher I missed the part where he defended mass shooters, sorry. Comrade GC (talk) 16:52, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- Please, your own article states that more girls get killed in these than men or boys. It should specify "white" girls. (Personally, I think it should say "white bitches" or "white sluts" but I know you won't do that) KyleButler (talk) 16:55, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- I think is justified now. Christopher (talk) 16:56, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm not saying these white girls deserved to die. They deserved to get the shit beat out of them to humble them a little, but killing them doesn't give them the chance to be a better person. They just die in vain. Everybody deserves a chance. Killing and judging based on skin color is what the nazi KKK did to my people. I want to like these people, but I can't like people who are mean to me. But I'm also a realist and I'm not going to kiss their graves unless I know that they truly were nice people. KyleButler (talk) 17:03, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- What does @LeftyGreenMario think? She seems sane. She must be a black girl because only a black girl would be nice like that. Am I being over the top again? KyleButler (talk) 17:05, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

background check clarification[edit]
Can we get some clarity on "states that require background checks" vs states that don't? Pretty sure the background check for purchasing from an FFL is run federally through NICS using the Form 4473 in all 50 states. Is this referring to the level of scrutiny for concealed carry permits or something else? Because it doesn't align with reality when taken to be about purchasing a firearm. - Our source's source for that claim is a broken link. It's now hard to assess what exactly they meant. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 16:13, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
