He is an even greater proof what a mental illness religion is.[edit]

I hope there is a cure against this conservative virus. 77.20.231.61 (talk) 23:21, 6 July 2021 (UTC)

Fragile YouTube links[edit]

Most of the YouTube references in this article have either been deleted or are now marked private. I spot checked a couple of these to see if they'd been archived at archive.org, and none of the ones I checked are available there. It is a common problem here at RW that very few editors take the time to archive fragile links like YouTube videos or Twitter posts, and in the case of hatemongers like Anderson, they eventually get deleted or the posting account gets banned for violating the site's terms of service.

What should editors do in cases like this? I am tempted to delete all statements where the only reference is a deleted YouTube link, but I'll leave this open for community discussion before taking any such action.

Because if this issue I'm removing bronze from this article pending a clean up. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 17:03, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Update: I found a set of archive.org sites where it appears that Anderson's YouTube history (at least through 2018) is archived. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 17:16, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Sex scandal[edit]

Sooooo, apparently there was a scandal with Anderson because apparently, allegedly his sons were grooming very young (12/13) year old girls and were talking about engaging in violent and degrading sex acts, or something like that. I didn't have time to archive it all let alone look through it all but... here's a Playlist that I found https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJFEiE4GKkvDN0WXQaVocAyd296bePmLs ExChristian (talk) 21:31, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

If this turns out true, WHOOOO BOY. Patty Pat 22:29, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
@Patty Pat I went ahead and archived it and looked through a bit. I read that there are over 500 pages worth of logs of his sons conversations. It was alleged that his sons grooming young girls and also talking about wanting to rape/beat/choke women. He also, ended up beating his sons as his response instead of trying to get them help. He held a secret sermon about it, I didn't watch it but I read the comments and according to the comments, he basically dismissed what his sons were talking about as "locker room talk" and tried to blame other people for what had happened. It's been known for more than 2 years but unfortunately Anderson did a very good job at mostly covering it up. I only found it out because I looked up if there were any sex scandals involving him (since it feels like you can't talk about anyone anymore without something like that coming up), and whaddaya know? Steven Anderson's children are open Nazis[edit]

I found out about their garbage from recent Telltale video and thought it would be worthwhile to include it in his article. I'll do my best to source everything properly, but I'm new at this so any corrections will be appreciated.

I dialed it back a little. Another minor nitpick as well especially since I removed this part, but "indoctrinated" would've probably been better than "groomed". I think politicizing the term has been a mistake, largely perpetrated by right-wing culture warriors, and possibly damaging to the cause of child safety to dilute its meaning by implying pedophilia in unrelated contexts.
