March for England[edit]

I saw them on the BBC news website yesterday and did wonder if a certain fellow Englishman with a taste for documenting rightwing British bullshit was going to pen an article on them. Hats off to you and happy St George's Day. El TajDon't make me do stuff 18:57, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

And a good St. George's to you as well. Yesterday I discovered the wonders of mixing Coke with Orangina, and so have been celebrating heartily. Balaam (talk) 19:10, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Interesting mix that. My patriotism today consisted of eating fish and chips for dinner with a nice cup of tea. El TajDon't make me do stuff 19:13, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

UFOs[edit]

I suggest reading through the SUNlite archives, for both inspiration and reference. ;)--ZooGuard (talk) 17:41, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, some interesting stuff there. Got anything on Nordics? Balaam (talk) 19:31, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Nope, only a woman being mistaken for a Venusian. :) --ZooGuard (talk) 07:36, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

EDL[edit]

About them approving of us, I'm not particularly sure that's a good thing. Osaka Sun (talk) 09:18, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

That was my point - it seems unfair to criticise someone for having David Horotwitz approve of them when we ourselves have some wingnutty fans. Balaam (talk) 09:23, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Innocence[edit]

Please sort the ref tag on Innocence of Muslims, I can't. Proxima Centauri (talk) 08:29, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that - got distracted and forgot to preview it. Balaam (talk) 09:13, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi[edit]

Since you seem to be knowledgeable on Islamic topics could you find some time to look at some of the stubs I created today? Smiley.gif Winter Whisper (talk) 01:09, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Will do, although there are probably people here who are better versed in the subject than me. Balaam (talk) 18:12, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

17 whatever the hell is back[edit]

Just a heads up. Humorless fascistsociopath 15:16, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

You mean this "17 times" individual? Not sure if it's the same person, this one looks like a regular vandal, the old 17br0 or whatever he was called seemed to be making a genuine effort to communicate. Balaam (talk) 16:45, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

British nationalism[edit]

I don't know why you deleted this. British nationalism is quite a distinct strand, and although it can overlap with English nationalism and Ulster Unionism, it is completely different from Scots, Welsh and Cornish nationalism. It tends to veer to the right whereas they veer to the left.-Albannach (talk) 12:01, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

That's the main reason I replaced it - the description of the "British nationalists" category stated that it also covered Scottish and Welsh nationalism, so I thought that "nationalism in the UK" would be a better name for it. That, and the phrase "British nationalists" implies individuals, while all the articles included were about groups, which isn't entirely consistent with some of our other categories.
That said, a "British nationalism" category would work as a sub-cat of nationalism in the UK. Balaam (talk) 12:11, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

The Scottish Defence League is definitely British (rather than Scottish) nationalist as is UKIP. Personally I think nationalism covers too many things as a term to be truly meaningful, but it seems to be in common use.-Albannach (talk) 13:03, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

National Action[edit]

Balaam, I read the article you created English Nationalist Resistance. I just wanted to let you know that one of their members called Alex from Wales has now formed a new group called National Action. You can read about it here;

Stormfront thread. Note that on page 4 Insurrectionist (the ENR founder who was kicked out for taking drugs) has commented, chances are he will be involved in the near future. You may be interested in the NA website;

website notice all the guns and balaclavas. They have written a manifesto found here;

[1]. The group is owned by a 19 year old university student called Alex from wales. If you read their facebook page he gives more details about the group. Same art and graphics work as the ENR etc.

facebook page If you go half-way down the page you can listen to a free interview radio talk with Alex were he admits to be associated with ENR, but left the group after their members got arrested at Milton Keynes for harassing people.

You can see the radio talk here on the white nationalist radio-albion;

[2]. I recommend doing an article on these guys if you get the time. BlueMachine (talk) 21:35, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll look into it. Balaam (talk) 10:22, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

For clearing up some of my mess with the CaptureBot images. I removed all images that have no copyright and are unused. Unfortunately, "unused" means "not embedded", and not "not linked to in any way" :-/ At first I thought it were just a few images, and didn't realize the scope of the problem until yesterday ... I did some work to make a bot to find & restore all the images that were erroneously removed, but didn't have time to finish that yesterday ...

I owe you a beer at the very least... Carpetsmoker (talk) 11:44, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

User:Tallulah[edit]

Is that a sock of yours or something? One can't help but notice a certain overlap in... interests.--ZooGuard (talk) 19:17, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

I noticed she was editing some of my articles relating to the Steadfast Trust and the other Wodenist bigots. Looked at her contributions and found that RW was now obsessed with Gamergate. Was unimpressed. Balaam (talk) 19:49, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
But thanks for reminding me, I've been meaning to sysop her :) Balaam (talk) 20:12, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
You complain about this site being obsessed with GG, yet you rush to defend articles started by GGers, about people targeted by GGers. Hypocrite. Typhoon (talk) 20:30, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
You mean the Bahar Mustafa article? It doesn't mention Gamergate, nor do most of the news reports about her. You can't compare a short article about someone tangentially related to GG to the chronicle of obsession that is Timeline of Gamergate. Balaam (talk) 21:01, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
She was heavily discussed in gamergate HQ at /r/kotakuinaction and by GG hero Milo. The only people still raging about her are almost all gamergaters. Typhoon (talk) 21:44, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
