The left wants Michaelangelo's sistince chapel removed (lacks "diversity"). I'm joking... but that's where your liberalism leads us! Columbus statue is being vandalized by sick people!--Kingdamian1 (talk) 04:03, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

什么? I have been known to impulse buy books 00:31, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
Pardon?--Kingdamian1 (talk) 16:13, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
The destruction of history.... all because of people who were not even slaves but are the great-great-grandchildren of them. If you were not directly involved and are not even slaves yourselves then there is no reason to take them down, why not take down the founding fathers then since they did more wrongs to the Native Americans than we did to the Blacks? It's all stupidity, they want compensation even though they had nothing done to them.---Ultimate SlimeRimuru Slime.png 15:51, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
@Rimuru Tempest Mr. Tempest, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. Decidedly not a sock of User:Fareeha_A 16:12, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
Tempest's statement is not a word salad. it is however bullshit. it would only be true if the US was a beacon of racial equality which i am sure few would agree. in a US where black folk are murdered by police, with racism ingrained in every level of society, i can see why they might object to statues lionising the very people who fought a war to keep them enslaved. AMassiveGay (talk) 16:40, 29 August 2017 (UTC)

Perhaps you missed the point, many people want to take down statues that have links to people who kept up the confederacy but if that is valid then we should take down anything regarding President Andrew Jackson as he forced many Natives to areas resulting in mass death and did so against the law. The Native Americans were basically cheated of their land and were stolen from but we don't see them criticizing or asking the removal of the statues of the people who wronged their forefathers.--Ultimate SlimeRimuru Slime.png 17:40, 29 August 2017 (UTC)

@Rimuru Tempest If Hitler statues existed in Germany, should they be preserved? What is the purpose of statues? Mʀ. Wʜɪsᴋᴇʀs, Esϙᴜɪʀᴇ (talk/stalk) 17:51, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
The answer is simple - a statue retirement home. Anna Livia (talk) 18:22, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
@FuzzyCatPotato About the same purpose of Mount Rushmore (although a statue is just a sculpture that shows the full form)Ultimate SlimeRimuru Slime.png 19:03, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
MR was carved in situ - the statues were forcibly retired, with no severance package - if they protested too much they were threatened with the boot. Anna Livia (talk) 21:51, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
