— My main interest on RationalWiki is helping to document and tidy up articles on pseudomathematics. I'm a Maths Undergraduate, not a physicist or geologist but numbers intersect across various crank ideas and fields. So my interest isn't exclusive to cases where someone says Pi is X arbitrary integer, its also in applied cases like misrepresentation of graphs by climate change denialists to race realists opining about IQ differences. Other than maths, I'm interested in the uptick and history of Conservative Think-Tanks funding private groups and how this affects public discourse about free speech, education, and objectivity in the sciences. eg. Heterodox Academy, Prager U, Mises Institute, et al. Much like how anti-vax material can distort peoples understanding of human biology, Ideas these groups promote appear to give people a narrow lens to view the larger field with (whether its economics, statistics, or another number-heavy field) that is definitely going to cause problems in a couple of years, if not now.
Feel free to shoot me a message if there's an article you want me to take a closer look at. Here's the kind of articles I'd best to look at:
1. Requires an expert on a mathematics domain, eg. Graph Theory, Probability, Proofs. 2. Requires clarification for a layperson to understand. 3. I had a little fnck up and you want me to read an existing article to show that I'm wrong. It happens. 4. There's a special project team or portal that fits my special interests and you want me onboard. — — Unsigned, by: Weird.wulfe / talk / contribs 13:39, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
