Where can I ask a mod what is and is'nt acceptable to post?[edit]
I understand the rules but just to be safe I like asking a mod just so that I don' have a backlash when posting where could I go to ask someone whether a post is appropriate or not.Theodor Hugs-a-lot (talk) 02:15, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
Where do I post music?[edit]
I want to post my personal favorite of Kourosh Yaghmaei's songs, but there's apparently an informal ban against posting videos on the Bar. Where would I post it? Vee (talk) 19:38, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Informal ban? Since when? Acei9 19:40, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Eh, there was a mention of it in response to Arcadium, or maybe I'm misinterpreting things. Vee (talk) 19:43, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- People have posted video in the bar since its inception. Acei9 19:48, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- But there was a request to not "embed" the video in the page. Cardinal Chang (talk) 20:39, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure people can handle the occasional embed. Because, you know, people have been doing it since the sites inception. Acei9 20:40, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sure they can handle the "occasional" embed, but the request came about after a particular, now departed, user would fill the Saloon with embedded video after embedded video.Cardinal Chang (talk) 20:43, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- And that user has now departed. So when someone starts doing it again we can tell them to knock it off. So what's the problem? Acei9 20:52, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- None, thought it was a standing rule. My bad. Cardinal Chang (talk) 20:59, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- I think the main issue in the past if I recall was that some Bar readers on perhaps older machines had resources issues with embedded videos, especially a lot of them. I don't know if this still applies to today's readers. Links are better from my experience anyways, the embedded Youtube player will double the page request size when loading the Bar and download God knows what advertising crapola from Google (my uBlock Origin install blocks nothing from the RW Bar on its own, but blocks multiple requests from a Bar with a Youtube embed). 35.140.177.2 (talk) 21:22, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

http interwiki links[edit]
Currently every interwiki link at this site is http, example: w:Never Gonna Give You Up links to http://.
Could you change that to https? A small step towards more private Internet.

- I wonder when was the last time a tech went through the interwiki table. Most browsers (and good websites) should automatically redirect to HTTPS, but I'll try to go through it tomorrow and change the links. Rabbitseatcarrots (talk) 21:07, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
I'm tempted to say Ken is the worst[edit]
Just in light of how much of a nuisance he is here, but all of the Conservapedia Crew are pretty awful. Vee (talk) 20:18, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
- He does have some pretty awful opinions, that's for sure. --Luigifan18 (talk) 16:48, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

An American Conversation Podcast[edit]
https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Draft:An_American_Conversation_Podcast
I'm new to RationalWiki.
An American Conversation Podcast is clearly worth a RationalWiki article. These muppets have had every TERF from here to Neptune on their show.
Wwned and co-hosted by social worker Rose Medina MSW / Rose Medina MSSW and Hollywood actor Leland Heflin, featuring regular appearances by Sandra Currie, Halona Shaw LCSW and Deborah Corday. The primary focus is interviewing TERFs and anti-transgender activists. They also plug Genspect's transphobic misinformation campaign in a 5-part series of videos titled "Parents Despair."
Previous guests of the show include notorious bigot Graham Linehan, Kara Dansky, Marian Rutigliano, Natasha Chart and Lierre Keith from the anti-trans group Women's Liberation Front, multiple members of anti-trans group LGB Alliance including Graham Linehan's sidekick Arty Morty, debunked transphobic sexologist Ray Blanchard, multiple members of the transphobic environmentalist group Deep Green Resistance, Reduxx co-founder Genevieve Gluck, transphobic "Giggle" developer Sall Grover, transphobic trans man grifter Buck Angel and TERF trans woman Debbie Hayton, transphobic journalist Lisa Selin Davis, "Keep Prisons Single Sex" campaigner Heather Mason, anti-trans sports campaigner Linda Blade, transphobic author Phyllis Chesler, transphobic author Simon Edge, Center for Bioethics and Culture founder and Reduxx author Kallie Fell, cryptoterf and anti-Islam activist Yasmine Mohammed, Graham Linehan follower Elaine Miller, Gender Dissent founder Felicia Rembrandt, Speak Up For Women founders Katrina Biggs and Suzanne Levy, transphobic activist Rosa Alvarez, transphobic writer Cherry Smiley, Women's Liberation Front supporter and transphobic author Eleanor Cowan, and transphobic biologist Colin Wright.
Worth noting - occasionally guests aren't visibly involved in anti-transgender activism.
My name is Darcy Rohan and An American Conversation Podcast slandered me on Youtube and attributed quotes to me that I didn't write. Please feel free to read my Medium article about this if you want to learn more. https://medium.com/@darcyrohan/meet-the-terfs-d8e534c3f593
I'd like An American Conversation Podcast to have a RationalWiki page. My previous draft was deleted. — Unsigned, by: Darohan85 / talk / contribs
