Conservapedia talk:Sysops/Karajou
A(n) fucking ad hominem attack[edit]
- Eh, teh Kangarooroo probably deserved a little curtain pulling. What you wrote might be cynical and have an attitude, but it's not ad hominem if it's true, and addresses claims made by the subject. You should probably copy this to an article on him in the CP namespace so it doesn't diappear into an archive. Oh, and
strikeoutthe cusswords for amusing effect! human 19:09, 28 January 2008 (EST)- Anybody know what "karajou" means? I'm guessing it's a foreign phrase ("kara jou"), but I've no clue the language...--70.106.203.13 19:56, 28 January 2008 (EST)
- It was the name of his sled. ;) --Robledo 20:13, 28 January 2008 (EST)
- Ding!!! Now copy/cut/paste all this to Conservapedia:Sysops/Karajou (and its talk page) so we dont' lose it!

Gulf War veteran[edit]
If he was a real Gulf War vet shouldn't there be a deployment in the Arabian/Persian Gulf? Or was he hanging back, safe in the Med? Genghis Marauding 06:32, 29 January 2008 (EST)
- USS South Carolina was in the Red Sea and the Med during Desert Shield and Desert Storm respectively, so that's probably it. --AKjeldsenGodspeed! 06:45, 29 January 2008 (EST)
Originally under the end of the article[edit]
Since this was cobbled together on a talk page the following was originally part of the post, but now just causes conflusion:
I make no claims to being perfect or impervious. In fact, I practically expect you all to critize my methodology and my conclusions.

Casualty tables[edit]
I put these in to demonstrate the relative safety of being in the Navy during the recent Middle East conflicts to support the contention that sitting in a boat many miles offshore was no big deal. Genghis Marauding 11:48, 7 February 2008 (EST)
- The casualty tables make a good point, I mean, if over a hundred suicides is statistically insignificant (as Andy insists), then certainly 5 combat deaths must be. -DickTurpis 12:30, 7 February 2008 (EST)
- I can easily put them back in if you feel it does help the argument. I removed them because I felt the series of tables "broke the flow" of the text. -- Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 13:03, 7 February 2008 (EST)
- My issue with the tables is you're supposed to be belittling Karajou's service record, not that of all Naval Personell. Just because their KIA numbers are lower, that doesn't mean they weren't involved. Jets are less likely to be shot down than a tank or hmmwv being blown up. Jrssr5 15:23, 7 February 2008 (EST)

Karajou Blocks[edit]
I'm probably the only one that cares but when Admiral Karajou blocked because: "Canadian citizen demanding First Amendment rights under our Constitution, when he hasn't sworn to uphold and protect it"; he was blocking me. just find it funny is all. thought i should tell y'all... i'll stop now. --Iconoclast beggar 17:16, 14 February 2008 (EST)
- Nice to know :) human 16:45, 14 February 2008 (EST)

- Nah. We're too gay-/pot-/healthcare-friendly to be considered people, let alone have rights.--Iconoclast beggar 17:20, 14 February 2008 (EST)
- "Canadians" are just a made up group anyway-- another liberal deceit. We aren't fooled by "Canada" here. Obviously the few hundred (maybe fourteen hundred people) living there are just North Americans. You're clueless if you don't

Taking all the Umbridge[edit]
Ok, I have to complain in the strongest possible terms about the second picture on this page.... It clearly represents Karajou as black... IF we don't have any proof of his race, I Demand we take it down.... It's bad enough I have to accept Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton in my race, I'm not taking this bastard too. SirChuckBThis country needs more Rutabegas 02:58, 19 July 2008 (EDT)
- Yah, but the first picture implies we whities are to blame for this hideous spawn. We are judging him by the content of his "character", right? And we don't know the color of his skin... ħuman 03:10, 19 July 2008 (EDT)
- Ya cool wit dat? That second picture is pretty offensive - to anyone who has ever had a job, ever... ħuman 01:19, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
- PS - feel free to swap in a picture of a cracker/whitey - I don't mind. Really. Youse guys got kicked down harder than I could ever imagine... ħuman 01:21, 8 August 2008 (EDT)

The furry thing...[edit]
Considering (neglecting?) the chances that it's really him, I suggest we delete it; it's mindless snark (specially when it can be used against practically every other sysop) and doesn't seem to add anything else to the article either. NightFlareThis is a talk page. 18:20, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
Little Flags[edit]
I noticed on Karajou's user page he has all those little flags showing where he has been, one thing occurred to me though. How did he do a WESTPAC deployment without visiting Australia or New Zealand? They are the US closest allies in that region. 00:05, 1 September 2008 (EDT)
- Them ANZACs got taste! ContribsTalk 00:07, 1 September 2008 (EDT)
- I know New Zealand won't permit US nuclear vessels, maybe both countries won't permit any vessel carrying Karajou because they have no idea what it is. 00:11, 1 September 2008 (EDT)
- As a NZer I can tell you things are a little frosty with the Yanks. If Karajoujoujowl went in the 1980's there was the whole Nuke Free protests going on and many U.S vessels didn't come here. Also we dont want people like Karajowls here. We have our own assholes to deal with. Ace McWicked
- Come to think, don't Oz have a No Nukes thing as well? 00:18, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

Usual routine of paranoia?[edit]
Karajou has blocked "Johnhoward" for being a sockpuppet of TimJ even though the former account has not even edited yet! Is the letter "J" causing him to get distressed? Is it because the letter "J" stands for John Howard? 128.238.35.165 22:48, 13 September 2008 (EDT)
I created an account at CP, and my user page was not hiding anything and within 2 min. I got a "pack your liberal bags and leave" warning. Paranoia at its best. Scary to think that someone so paranoid was in the military. Not even Gold Bond can fix a trigger finger that itchy.--Snotbowst 21:35, 29 November 2008 (EST)
Ad hominem attack[edit]
Since this is an article rather than an essay, is it really appropriate for a large chunk of it to be written in the first person ("I am going to start out by affirming that I have nothing against military servicemen" blah blah blah) without identifying the author? Also do we really need so much of the article given over to speculation about his military career (which has little to do with RW missions) rather than his observed behaviour at Conservapedia? My suggestion is that this section be moved to a subpage or an essay, & linked from the karajou article. weaseLOId~ 18:51, 5 October 2008 (EDT)
- Indeed it did start as an ad hom by RA. It should be converted into third person snark. ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 19:03, 5 October 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah, I reckon it should be abridged a bit too. It just seems to be going into too much depth based on scant evidence (i.e. we assume his naval record isn't actually that great based on some acronyms he gives & the fact that he doesn't go into more detail about it). The same can be achieved in a paragraph or so, without taking up two-thirds of the article. weaseLOId~ 19:10, 5 October 2008 (EDT)
- Usual rulz apply - don't delete too much without consensus. Suggest that you mock up an alternative and run it up the flagpole to see who salutes. ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 19:15, 5 October 2008 (EDT)

Why has Karajou ban me?[edit]
I have come back from holiday and found that Karajou blocked my account on Conservapedia, but I do not know why he did it. He says
You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:
Your user name or IP address has been blocked.
The block was made by Karajou. The reason given is Trolling / Liberal Trolling: Your accent slipped. Bye..
Start of block: 11:12, 26 June 2009 Expiry of block: infinite Intended blockee: Lexfundamen
You can contact Karajou or another administrator to discuss the block. You cannot use the 'e-mail this user' feature unless a valid e-mail address is specified in your account preferences and you have not been blocked from using it. Your current IP address is 174.36.153.167, and the block ID is #55165.
Please include all above details in any queries you make.
My accent slipped? I write pretty well in English, but sometimes make mistakes. I do not understand what he means but he says I am trolling/liberal trolling. I am theology student in Europe. I do not know liberal or trolling and I think Liberal must mean something very different to me!
Please help me understand Karajou! This feels he singled me out to say this thing. I tryed to email him from Conservapedia but it will not permit me so I found this website by searching on the web for Conservapedia and hope someone helps me.

- Its because Conservapedia doesnt actually want editors who know anything at all. All facts are reverted as "liberal" and any argument results in instant ban. But you are more than welcome here! Ace McWickedi9 23:54, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- I said on my home page there that I was there to practice English. I think they did not like that I know very little maybe. Lexfundamen 23:58, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- at conservapedia you can get an infinate ban for just about anything. Facts are "liberal" and europeans are unwanted. That is it in a nutshell. Ace McWickedi9 00:05, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
