2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon? is a made-for-TV schlockumentary promoting Moon landing hoax conspiracy theories that aired first in February 2001 on the Fox Network (not to be confused with Fox News). It's sometimes credited with rekindling the popularity of the hoax allegations.

The one thing it gets right is its main title: that is, it is a conspiracy theory. One might as well create a "documentary" titled Baseless Speculation: Is The Earth Really Round?. Again, the answer is Yes to both.
