Question[edit]

If moving your hands is called gesticulating, why aren't our hands called gesticles?

Answers[edit]

Because it would sound too much like "testicles". --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 15:10, 14 January 2008 (EST)

And just think, another body part that wouldn't be able to have an article at CP. -- ΠΡΟΜΗΘΕΥΣ - FORETHOUGHT 07:36, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Question[edit]

How many Conservapedians does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Answers[edit]

No, I don't know the answer, but certainly it won't be a CFL (compact fluorescent lightbulb), which will kill all of us with its mercury content. I remember an 'interesting' article or discussion about that, with Andy's contribution, a long time ago, but can't find it right now: CFL is about sports. Ed @but not the Poor one! 05:36, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Huh, I thought that Conservapedians were only good at screwing things up, not in. --88.191.57.15 07:33, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Surely they would have faith that God would screw it in for them - Jollyfish.gifGenghis And God said "Let there be lightbulbs" 08:04, 16 January 2008 (EST)

In conservapedia the light bulb screws you.--Bobbing up 12:46, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Obviously more than they have on hand to do it - since they seem to be living in the dark... humanUser talk:Human 14:29, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Is the Hokey Cokey what it's all about? Silver Sloth 07:38, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Do you mean the Hokey Pokey? --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 12:49, 16 January 2008 (EST)
This rather good Wikipedia article will explain why, although you would mean the Hokey Pokey, I would mean the Hokey Cokey - Tomato, tomato etc. Silver Sloth 14:38, 16 January 2008 (EST)
Don't you mean potato, potato? :) --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 14:50, 16 January 2008 (EST)
Or perhaps rubato, rubato? --AKjeldsenGodspeed! 14:55, 16 January 2008 (EST)
Domo origato, Mr. Roboto! humanUser talk:Human 15:45, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Mr Porter made the rules on that one. As for the party, what a swelegant, elegant party this is. Silver Sloth 17:32, 16 January 2008 (EST)
Why, you're so elegant yourself, Silver Sloth, that if you were anymore elegant, you'd be named Gold Sloth! Hahahahahaha! ...Oh, that wasn't funny et al. --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 17:37, 16 January 2008 (EST)
I keep thinking/reading "silverfish". Ugh. No offense, of course, to you, Mr. Sloth. humanUser talk:Human 20:11, 16 January 2008 (EST)

If God really did exist, how many times would he have smote Andrew Schlafly by now?

Answers 080117[edit]

Phli times. Jollyfish.gifGenghis Calculating 18:43, 17 January 2008 (EST)

God can smite people .97 times? I call foul, Genghis. It has to be at least once. --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 19:03, 17 January 2008 (EST)
Doesn't the existence of Andrew Schlafly almost disprove the existence of any gods? Unless he was placed here, along with the dinosaur bones, to test our faith. I agree though, that the idea that someone can be smited smoted smitten .97 times is as absurd as the idea of a doughnut without holes in it. --BillOhannitygodvelocity. 20:35, 17 January 2008 (EST)
Of course Schlafly was sent here to test our faith. He's like L. Ron Hubbard with a law degree. --Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 20:41, 17 January 2008 (EST)

Shouldn't it be smoten or smitten? (if anyone can, then god can smite fractionally - omnipotence rules) SusanPurrrrrrr 14:26, 18 January 2008 (EST)
