Easter Bunny (edit|talk|history|protect|delete|links|watch|logs) – (View log)

  1. Does no harm, and it's not like we're a paper encyclopedia with a limited number of pages. Maybe add a line about bells flying from Roma delivering the eggs in catholic countries like France instead of a rabbit (not that it makes more sense). I think the link with pagan traditions, showing the cafeteria that are most Christian traditions, is on mission.--dx (talk) 09:08, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
  2. The current text sucks. Will see if I can come up with aught for it. I've seen the "eggs and rabbits are secretly pagan" line before, and it smells faintly of nineteenth century amateur folkishness. - Smerdis of Tlön (talk) 21:00, 1 July 2014 (UTC)-- Comment. I have amended the article somewhat. - Smerdis of Tlön (talk) 20:10, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
  3. Oh come on, the Easter bunny and Santa Clause are like most peoples' first exposure to skepticism. Ikanreed (talk) 16:24, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
  4. This was crap before but, now that Smerdis of Tion has edited it, it's informative, entertaining and mission-worthy enough in my opinion. Spud (talk) 05:10, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
  5. It's a pretty good article in my opinion. --TheoneandonlyduncanSend me hate mail 22:18, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
So, that's 5 votes for keep, 3 deletes and no goats. I say it stays. It's very different now from when it was nominated for deletion. You might argue about its missionality but you can no longer say it's utter shit. If you still think it should be deleted, start the process again. Spud (talk) 12:34, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

  1. There is nothing of relevance in this article that is not covered (in better quality) elsewhere. GØØBY PLS Be judged by your suicidal desireDolan.png 14:34, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
  2. I think I have actually shat a better Easter Bunny article than that - David Gerard (talk) 23:31, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
  3. If the Great Pumpkin doesn't get it's own page, the Easter Bunny shouldn't either. MarmotHead (talk) 20:03, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
