Talk:Nightmare Fuel
Right after Nightmare Fuel had a positive video on us[edit]
So I ask why?—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 23:19, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- Perhaps his userbase and ours can overlap? There was some interest in the comments section. RoninMacbeth (talk) 23:27, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- What interest? The comments were either [1] a description of the channel (what he asked commenters to do) or [2] whining about the icky SJW RationalWiki. FuzzyCatPotato of the Hardcore Playstation 3s (talk/stalk) 00:56, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- Someone WAY down in the comments section expressed interest in looking at the site. RoninMacbeth (talk) 01:13, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

Ax grinding[edit]
@Penguinjoy0: There were a couple of sentences that evidently showed you had an ax to grind. I have removed them. (I also fixed you many typos.) Can someone rewrite the Iran section that present's Reece's words as the main focus.—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 23:52, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
"On RationalWiki" part[edit]
What's the point of moving it to here? TheEOE (talk) 22:39, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- It seems way to much like a message/statement from us and not enough like part of the article. Like if it wasn't about a video about us would it be there? And isn't content about writing the article supposed to be on the talk page? You can move it back if you like. — Dysk (contribs) 22:43, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- I think we should bring this up here, his response video to his video on our article (rather than start a discussion in the Saloon Bar; easier to find the relevant section in the relevant article later than dive through the archive ocean. That he responded, however, is noteworthy enough for a mention in the page. It just needs to be written better. --It's-a me, 🎄LeftyGreenMario!🎄 22:46, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, look at that. Pbfreespace3 added those slander statements to the article. I'm really glad this infamous
trolluser went under the radar.—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 22:52, 26 July 2018 (UTC)- Errrr, Nightmare Fuel, if you're reading this, please forgive us. ._. --It's-a me, 🎄LeftyGreenMario!🎄 22:58, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- He also added that doxing section. Anyone surprised? @Nightmare_Fuel RationalWiki is not an organized group of people. Literally anyone can edit, and an account isn't required. Just because something is in an article doesn't mean the community agrees with it. We miss stuff. The best you can do is call us out on our shit and we'll correct it.—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 23:04, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, that stuff slipped through quality control. That being said, we're glad you pointed it out, but I hope you didn't take some edit by some guy the community agrees as, well, not the most productive contributor, as an endorsement by the general community. someone, try reaching him --It's-a me, 🎄LeftyGreenMario!🎄 23:16, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- @LeftyGreenMario: Should we removed Pbfreespace3 autopatrol status? He clearly needs to be watched with a closer eye.—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 23:27, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

Heinen says he hasn't advocated military action against North Korea but that option should not be off the table. The current citation is a video with no timestamp or specific quote. Unless someone can cite a quote then this claim should be removed or clarified. CowHouse (talk) 06:19, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Notability[edit]
Is Heinen notable enough to have an entire page dedicated to him? He only has 4 thousand followers on Twitter and 9 thousand YouTube subscribers (and his most viewed video only has 36 thousand views). There isn't a whole lot of substance to this article anyway so I doubt anyone would miss it. CowHouse (talk) 06:19, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- Then he'll probably make a video moaning about how the article about him got deleted. Spud (talk) 09:56, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- I say we keep the article. — Dysk (contribs) 11:20, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Spud Even if you're right, that's not a good reason to keep the article. Given the size of his channel I'd only consider him notable enough for a page if he had considerable media coverage but that doesn't appear to be the case. CowHouse (talk) 12:24, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- @CowHouse Yeah, you're right. In fact, I agree with everything you just said. Spud (talk) 14:08, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- RationalWiki doesn't have notability.—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 22:33, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- And the subject s so on-topic that the subject is even interacting with us, so whats the harm? I don't see audience participation as a negative here. — Dysk (contribs) 22:43, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

Deleting this article[edit]
The Nightmare Fuel channel has so few subscribers and such little influence that I highly recommend deleting this article. Like Atheism-Is-Unstoppable, Reese has also pivoted heavily towards alt-right apologism recently, and the outdated content of this article now acts as a whitewashing of his channel's output. So for both reasons of insignificance, and possible normalising of a fairly reprehensible person, I very much suggest that this article be deleted. 00:45, 15 August 2018 (UTC) Orlando2996
Alt-right apologism[edit]
@Orlando2996: I read on the AFD this guy is an alt-right apologist. How so?—チーズバーガー • めん (talk • stalk) 20:13, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
- We deleted this article because they're not notable enough to be worth establishing this kinda crap about them. When someone quibbles about a sargon or a milo, there's a real impact to them and it's worth the effort to document exactly how they tie into racist ideologies. Here, probably better uses of your time. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 20:59, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
