Tucker wants to start his own TV Station[edit]

Dunno if it's missional. Think it is. Arcadium Trancefer (talk) 15:00, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

Probably it can be mentioned once something more solid happens and we find out how relevant it is.
There is precedent for something relevant happening (Glenn Beck and TheBlaze) but in another case (Bill O'Reilly) the departed simply crashed out of relevance post-Fox. BobJohnson (talk) 15:45, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

TuckerCarlson.com[edit]

This is a thing, apparently. Should this be mentioned? Arcadium Trancefer (talk) 11:07, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

Mask-off[edit]

I suppose now that he's no longer getting all that sweet primetime ad money he no longer has an excuse to mask. I bet you within a year he'll be saying the n-word. Carthage (talk) 19:35, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

I've come to think a part of this shift is because he lost his spot at Fox. He is aware how stupid this divisiveness is and just wants things to burn because he resents how dumb people are in his view. Murdoch dropping him would have amped this up further. On Fox, he was playing for team "vote Republican" but now I think he's on team "why don't all you peasants fight each other". Incidentally the main change there is just throwing in more "needling the Jews" and a lot of the old elements remain. Chillpilled (talk) 19:55, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

Getting this to silver[edit]

I think this article is fairly close to silver. However, it still requires some work (bare urls and the like). There is one dead link I've found so far, and unfortunately it's a video that was formerly on Comedy Central. It's a Jon Stewart clip ("YOUR SHOW BLOWS"). Can someone try and find it to replace the zombie url? I've tried the Internet Archive but their software didn't capture the clip, sadly. Carthage (talk) 23:59, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

I found a direct link to the clip via The Google, I think it is also available as a Paramount Plus link. BobJohnson (talk) 01:53, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Holocaust denial[edit]

Just for the record, interviewing a Holocaust denialist doesn't make him one; this is guilt by association. I don't know the content of the interview (and I don't intend to see it), but unless he says himself that the holocaust is a myth I don't think we should add this category. i signed up to substack little awhile ago and when i had to subscribe to few stacks/channels/whatever they call it over there. i just picked a few history and politics ones that sounded like they be interesting. i have never gotten round to actually looking for anything on there but i do get emails on the regular containing a new article/post in the entirety and sometimes i can be bothered to read one. when i can bothered to check my mail. anyway, i looked at an email i got a couple days ago this morning. it started out talking about comments made by the author on jim johns and an analogy about swat teams dealing with meth heads taking hostages and the need to deescalate whenever possible, then moved on to applying this analogy with hitler and churchill. it seemed awfully familiar for some reason, so i googled the guys name 'darryl cooper'. i now know why it sounded familiar. he was justifying what he had said in the carlson interview. we have all missed the he point he trying make, that is churchill should a have taken opportunities to deescalate conflict with nazi germany. its a nonsense of course, because we did attempt to deescalate repeatedly via appeasement, but it didnt stop hitler escalating by grabbing more land till he invaded poland, and 'deescalate' the conflct then would have just meant hitler would have had more resources at his disposal to he invaded the soviet union. and they would still have murdered miliions of jews and other groups even if they had more food for PoWs. but i digress. i subscribed to an infamous nazi by mistake is my point
i unsubscribed pretty sharpish and im going to have to review what else ive signed up for. AMassiveGay (talk) 16:13, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
tucker hasnt exactly distanced himself from the holocaust denialism aired in the interview and has instead seemingly endorsed the claims, the churchill parts at least on CNN “The fact that these lunatics have used the Churchill myth to bring our country closer to nuclear war than at any moment in history disgusts me, and should terrify every American,” he said in a text message to CNN. “They’re warmonger freaks. They don’t get the moral high ground.” dunno if he is a holocaust denier or not from that, hes probably smart enough to not go further than the ambiguous tacit support by referencing the 'churchill myth' if he is a denialist of any way. these fucknuts get more brazen with their bigotry and hate almost everyday, i wouldnt be surprised if he is less ambiguous in the future. i feel like carlson and his kind say things today that go further than what not so long ago would have ended the careers instantly and permanently, yet they have the nerve to complain about attacks on free speech. these cunts speech has never been freer AMassiveGay (talk) 16:40, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
