- It's also worth noting that a nation being declared a national security threat is apparently, for whatever reason, a required first step before the US can impose sanctions on that nation or its leaders/officials, so whether it's genuinely considered a security threat is not very clearcut. Should we have a section on the presidential crisis?
We should add at least a brief mention of the ongoing crisis over whether Nicolas Maduro or Juan Guaido is President of Venezuela. Given that the situation involves censorship and human rights abuses, and of course, a generous heaping of bullshit rhetoric from both sides, it'd definitely be worth covering
