Atheism[edit]
What happened there? You took out a large section? Ace McWickedwhisky 05:09, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
- No. Check the diff again. I moved it up and incorporated it into a new section. I think it works better to put the rest of the article in context.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 05:11, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
- Wheres that NZ section though? NZ is the only country ( I know of the has a agnostic/nearly atheistic government. --Ace McWickedwhisky 05:14, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
- Sorry, I'll add it back in somewhere.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 05:17, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
- I looked good where it was, in the politics section, but wherever. Ta, Ace McWickedwhisky 05:21, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
- I would have just added it back, but I removed that section for the above reason. Sorry. If you feel very strongly about it or think the article as a whole is worse, then please revert the edit back. Cheers :) --Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 05:25, 19 August 2008 (EDT)== Jinx quote ==

Why did you block me? All I did is write an honest essay. You're just as bad as Conservapedia I guess. Fall down 08:57, 16 October 2008 (EDT)
- Hey, I admit you were entertaining. Your nonsense was at least funny nonsense. We even sort-of preserved it, after a fashion. The main reason I blocked you was because I was afraid you were Jesus. I block everyone I see, just in case they're secretly the Messiah. I figure that once he's known, everyone will be on him, so I have to get my licks in while I can.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 12:32, 16 October 2008 (EDT)

Beck tears[edit]
Hi Tom,
Did you notice the video in the link? It sounds to my (admittedly poor) hearing they're saying they're going to need more tears.
What is your conclusion?
--UnicornTapestry 20:41, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Uh... that they needed more tears for the photo shoot that yielded this photo, a bit of self-mockery? The tears are faked, but that's okay because no one was supposed to think them real.--Tom Moorefiat justitia 20:50, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
A question[edit]
Would you eat meat if it were your own farm? I mean, if you had a couple of pigs and chickens on your own land. AceMcWicked 21:22, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- I don't know. Maybe. A lot of my "no meat" rule is for the sake of practicality... if I parse it, I'm sure there are lot of ways I could find to eat meat. But that's really hard for someone like me, who loves it so much. Far easier is to draw a simple line and live by it. It's the same way a lot of moral issues must be solved.--Tom Moorefiat justitia 21:26, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- The crux of you no meat argument was the environmental impact and factory farming. But if you had your own little patch of land and a few free range animals..? AceMcWicked 21:29, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- I guess, maybe. I would see little objection to it on moral grounds, assuming I cared for them, even though I would still be killing them for the meat (something I think isn't right). Many or most of the environmental reasons would be fixed. But on the other hand, it would perpetuate a meat-eating culture in some ways by supporting the practice. So it's kind of a tough one. Again, it's just plain easier to just not eat meat.--Tom Moorefiat justitia 21:35, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- But the meat eating culture does not rest squarely upon your shoulders. AceMcWicked 21:38, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- I do contribute to it, though. And all I can do is take responsibility for that small bit.--Tom Moorefiat justitia 21:41, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
