2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Why the sock[edit]

May I ask? Christopher (talk) 19:29, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

Mostly for fun I guess? I keep this logged in on one computer and Koi on a second and it just depends on which computer I'm using for which account gets used. I can delete/stop using this one, though, if you'd like. Have at'cha! 19:32, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
One of the slightly odd things about RW is that nearly everyone has socks (well, not so much now). Christopher (talk) 19:37, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

We usually[edit]

Put new comments at the bottom of a thread, not in the middle somewhere. It's not a big problem, it just makes it easier for someone reading the thread. Christopher (talk) 18:44, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

I know, but I was afraid that the comment would get lost and be read out of context. Have at'cha! 21:02, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
Usually we just put @[whoever you're replying to] before a post, it does get confusing either way though. Christopher (talk) 21:04, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
