There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |

Theory of Practice Still tryin' to figure it all out. 01:37, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- It's a little hard to believe it took me this long to remember I had signed up here. Life tends to get in the way of things from time to time and my attention span isn't what it used to be. Anyway, I'm not an expert in most of the topics covered here but I'm retired, need a hobby and have a good eye for typos.
- I spent most of two decades in the US Army, learning to put holes in things, first with guns, then with drills, and finally with a soldering iron. My expertise is in infantry work, aircraft structural repair, and basic electronics troubleshooting and repair, but I figured I could offer my services as a janitor of sorts, cleaning up the occasional there/their, a/an, and other instances where similar things slip past spell-check. I've got the time for it and it'll keep me off the streets, at least.Godless11B's gonna die the way he lived. 00:38, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
